What you will do
  • Undertake comprehensive mental health, risk, and psychosocial assessments for children and young people referred to CAMHS.
  • Develop, implement, and review person-centred care and treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT-informed approaches, psychoeducation, and brief psychological interventions.
  • Manage a defined caseload of children, young people, and families with complex mental health needs.
Person Specification Qualifications
  • Professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or another recognised allied health profession.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to CAMHS practice.
  • Additional training in child and adolescent mental health interventions is desirable.
Registration & Compliance
  • NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
Experience
  • Significant post-registration experience within CAMHS or children's mental health services.
  • Experience managing complex mental health presentations, including crisis and risk assessment.
