  <p>We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to train in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) with a view to applying for a Band 7 role upon completing their training and accreditation in DBT.</p><p>You would be joining a friendly and supportive team of clinicians across 2 DBT teams who pride ourselves on delivering high quality care and promoting recovery. We are committed to continuing professional development and self-care, and ensuring staff are able to achieve the right work-life balance. All psychological therapists within the service are embedded within clinical teams, contributing to MDT care planning and the delivery of trauma informed care, and offering psychological assessment and evidence-based therapies. Within the service, we offer a range of therapies, including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), family interventions, Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).</p><p>You would complete postgraduate training in DBT, alongside offering a clinical service to patients under supervision. You will specialise in offering therapy to service users experiencing emotional dysregulation, including those with a diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder. You will deliver full-package DBT as part of a team, including group work and phone coaching.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will also help deliver DBT-informed interventions such as emotional coping skills groups and other tasks across psychological services in the division. You will attend DBT consult regularly, which will be a further source of learning and support. You will help deliver a Family Connections group for relatives and carers of those experiencing difficulties linked to emotion dysregulation. Alongside your direct clinical work, you will offer consultation, supervision and training to other team members.</p><p>We are seeking applicants with a core professional training in mental health (nursing, occupational therapy or social work or similar such as Clinical Associate Psychologists) and some experience of working with people with a diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder. Applicants should have solid experience in mental health and strong interpersonal skills, together with the motivation and aptitude to complete a postgraduate qualification in psychological therapy.</p><p>Flexible working arrangements are possible, including some remote working according to clinical need.</p><p>Informal enquiries and visits welcome.</p><p><strong>On successful completion of High Intensity training course it is not Trust policy to automatically uplift this Band 6 post to Band 7 Therapy posts.   <p>This is an exciting arts therapies opportunity with Newham Arts Therapies, working with adult service users with complex mental health needs, in hospital and the community. The clinical provision is to cover for maternity leave, and may include individual and group work. You will be well supported with supervision from very experienced arts therapies clinicians. We have seven Steps to Recovery units and an Intensive Community Rehabilitation Team located at various sites across the city. The successful candidate will work across 2 sites facilitating art therapy within 3 of our Complex Care units - Endeavour Court, Erdington and Dan Mooney and David Bromley House located on the same site in Knowle, Solihull. This autonomous role will require you to develop the art psychotherapy resource within these units, to liaise with the MDT and support the delivery of effective and responsive psychological care. <p>We are looking for an exceptional Art, Drama or Music Psychotherapist to join our new specialist acute inpatient service for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.</p>
<p>This role will provide a rare and exciting career opportunity to be instrumental in contributing to the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of Arts Psychotherapy within a highly specialist inpatient setting. You will be expected to have excellent team working and groupwork skills, and an ability to deliver individual and group interventions within an inpatient environment.</p>
<p>In addition to shaping and delivering direct assessment, formulation and intervention, you will contribute to wider service development and pathways, including training, consultation, reflective practice and staff wellbeing.</p>
<p>You will be expected to contribute to service improvement, audit and research as appropriate, working with colleagues and linking with relevant partner organisations such as academic institutions, to help us realise our vision of being a centre of excellence.</p>

  <p>The post holder will deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment, formulation and intervention within the inpatient service. The service operates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and as it is primarily an evening service, the post holder will be expected to work evenings for the Woman's Service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.</p> <p>The post holder will join an established and integrated psychological therapies team within ADAPT-E. In the WS the post holder will join a well established team of psychoanalytic, psychodynamic and art psychotherapists offering specialist psychotherapy for women survivors of child sexual abuse.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post presents an exciting opportunity to develop highly specialist, supervisory and leadership skills within secondary care adult mental health.</p> <p>ADAPTE has been developing new ways of working with people presenting with interpersonal issues and complex trauma including a structured clinical management, compassion based and trauma stabilisation group programs. These run alongside established provisions including dual modality MBT, EMDR, CAT, 3rd wave CBT, psychodynamic, systemic and integrative approaches. Personal modality preferences will be encouraged and respected, specialisms in one or more of the above would be highly desirable.</p> <p>The post holder will be involved with assessment, formulation and interventions to the ADAPT population. Supervision of doctoral trainees or junior members of the therapy team will also be expected as appropriate. Leadership support will be encouraged with the Locality Lead in terms of service development and development of the MDT more widely.</p> <p>For WS, the post holder will be expected to provide highly specialised clinical interventions and supervision and contribute to the specialist expertise within a psychodynamic framework for survivors of child sexual abuse.
