  <p>At NELFT, we are proud to be the largest provider of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in England. Our teams deliver evidence-based interventions in schools and colleges for children and young people aged 4-18, while also supporting Whole School Approaches to improve wellbeing across education settings. Working closely with school-based services and linking with CAMHS where needed, MHSTs play a vital role in strengthening mental health support for young people.</p>   <p>We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Mental Health Practitioner (SMHP) to join our Mid Essex MHSTs. You will deliver CBT interventions, lead Whole School Approach activities, and support Education Mental Health Practitioners through supervision and guidance. The role also includes developing school networks, delivering staff training, supporting group programmes, and co-producing mental health resources.</p>   <p>Applicants should be CYPMHS clinicians undertaking or having completed CYP-PT CBT or SFP training, or registered professionals with a postgraduate diploma in evidence-based psychological therapies.   <p>This role requires you to use your lived experience of mental health conditions, which enables you to work with service users differently and foster a sense of "I've been there" connection.</p> <p>We are looking to recruit a peer support worker to join our Community Rehabilitation Service (CRS) in Brighton and Hove. We are a supportive, well-resourced and staffed team located across Brighton General Hospital and Millview Hospital, which is well served by public transport, as is the whole city. We have use of a pool car, or bus passes for staff to use on visits. Brighton is a vibrant, inclusive city with much to offer those who work here. We are open to discussing flexible working requirements to ensure we best support the recruitment and retention of our staff and will always try to support a positive work/life balance</p> <p>As a Peer Support Worker, you will be using your lived experience of mental health to work alongside individuals to understand their experiences and to maximise their strengths, resources and skills. You will help run peer led groups and link with resources in the third sector and community.</p>  <p>The job is for 15 hours per week/two days (working pattern can be negotiated/discussed).</p>  <p>This job will be open to band 4 workers. Band 4 workers will need to have a recognised peer support qualification as well as significant experience working with service users with mental health needs. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The CRS is a specialist mental health team working with service users with a primary diagnosis of psychosis who have complex needs including drug and alcohol misuse. Service users under CRS require an intensive level of support to ensure their recovery; some have a history of difficulty forming relationships with mental health services/professionals and may have had multiple admissions to hospital. You will work in partnership with a diverse team of clinicians and support staff including Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Nurses and our third sector partners. </p> <p>In line with our Trust value of 'People First', evidence shows that people who are treated in community and in the least restrictive manner, have better outcomes. In this role you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, to help us provide this opportunity for our service users in line with national agendas of The Getting It Right First Time a whole system approach to recovery from mental ill health, maximising an individual's quality of life and social inclusion.</p> <p>You will be working under the guidance of a qualified professional in the team and there will mentoring and support available from more experienced peer workers within the Trust. Full training and induction will be provided as well as supervision. </p>

  <p>We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Peer Specialists ready to use their personal journey to inspire hope and guide others through self-defined mental health crisis.</p> <p>The Retreat - based in Weymouth (subject to final arrangements in a move of current base) offer an open access crisis mental health service every evening; providing a welcoming, safe space for people to come and receive support, without referral or judgement.</p> <p>The partnership between lived and clinical experience is fundamental to the ethos and values of the Retreats, and you will work alongside Registered Practitioners in this role. As a vital member of our team, you will provide practical support and peer-led guidance to help visitors and their support networks regain control and hope while navigating challenging moments and moving forward in their recovery. By sharing your lived experience, you will foster trust, hope and promote self-determination.</p> <p>You'll receive comprehensive induction and specialist training, including trauma-informed care and collaborative working practices, to ensure you can use your experience to create real, lasting impact.</p> <p><strong>Full and part time hours are available (minimum 15 hours or 2 shifts per week). The service operates 365 days of the year, and whilst all reasonable flexible working requests will be considered, shift times are set at 16:00-midnight, in line with the opening hours of the service.</strong></p>

  <p>A rare opportunity for a motivated individual with lived experience of the Criminal Justice System or prison custody. Do you want to work with psychologists and practitioners to support people on their recovery journey?</p>
<p>Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) seeks individuals with lived experience to join our Primary Care Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTR) teams in Surrey, Buckinghamshire, and Hampshire.</p>
<p>This application is for High Wycombe, with an option to base in Aylesbury.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for someone who wants to use their experience of prison and/or the CJS to help others accessing MHTR support. Peer support experience is desirable but not essential; what matters most is your ability to use personal experience to support others and your aspiration to do so within a supportive NHS team.</p>
<p>Training will be provided. Independent travel across the Guilford area is essential. Peer support is founded on the belief that no one is better placed to guide recovery than someone who has walked the same path.</p>

  <p>Main duties of the job</p> <p>The Peer Support Worker will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users in order for them to engage with appropriate services, develop an identity outside of the criminal justice system, and regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process. </p> <p>The Peer Support Worker will come alongside a service user and assist them when aspiring and considering the initial steps on their recovery journey.</p>

The unit provides mental health care and treatment for women during the late stages of pregnancy and up to one year after the birth of their baby.</p> <p>The Rainbow Unit aims to:</p> <ul>  <li>Deliver the highest quality of care to mothers and theirbabies in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.</li>  <li>Maintain the safety of all mothers and their babies whilst treating the mother's mental illness.</li>  <li>Offer support to the families and carers involved in the mother's and or baby's care.</li>  <li>Help sustain the developing relationship between mother, baby and other family members</li> </ul> <p>Through the understanding of the Peer Support Worker (PSW) in relation to lived experiences within inpatient settings, the hope and reflection of recovery can be promoted within perinatal services</p> <p><strong>An essential criteria of this role, is the right candidate must have personal lived experience as someone who has been challenged by Perinatal Mental Health concerns previously at inpatient status or been supported within community perinatal mental health services.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Using your own lived experiences, the role of the Peer Support Worker (PSW) is to support and understand the impact of accessing services when experiencing mental health challenges.</p>
<p>As a PSW, you will work collaboratively with service users and the wider MDT to support the implementing of care and promoting recovery.</p>
<p>You will provide support and understanding to care givers and family members whilst underpinning recovery principles and socially inclusive practice</p>
<p>PSW's can support in building therapeutic relationships with service users to promote choice, offer advocacy support and understanding of position through lived experiences of being admitted to a Mother and Baby Unit.</p>
