			Are you an experienced Senior Psychologist with experience in a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting? If so, join&nbsp;Ann House in Kendal and Gregory House in Workington. Both Ann House and Gregory House are&nbsp;Learning Disabilities and Autism services.
You will support across two of our services: Gregory House in Workington and Ann House in Cumbria. You will work on either a permanent basis, spending 3 days per week at the closest service and 2 days at the other, or on a part-time basis at either service.



As the Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and be requested to design and deliver training.
As a Lead Psychologist, you will have experience and knowledge in carrying a service user’s caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments to support their care plans.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As a Lead Psychologist you will be:

 <li>Participating in the assessment of referrals, and to provide initial assessment service users referred to the service.</li>
 <li>Undertaking high quality direct (assessment &amp; therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions.</li>

Ann House provides a specialist provision with enhanced levels of support which allows people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs to be cared for in the least restrictive setting possible, but within a service which is robust and structured enough to meet their ongoing needs and risks.
You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure people lead good and meaningful everyday lives, where they have choice and control, accessing mainstream services and facilities, engaging in work and training, in leisure opportunities, hobbies and areas of personal interest. Ann House encourages people to be as independent as possible with the long-term aim of people moving onto a more independent living setting.

Practitioner Psychologist

Are you ready to deliver exceptional psychiatric care in a clinical setting? Join our dedicated team at St Neots as the Associate Specialist Doctor and play a key role in providing high-quality care to service users with complex mental health needs.
Working under the direction and supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will undertake psychiatric and external assessments for service users referred to the unit, ensuring the appropriate level of care is provided. You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive Care Programmes tailored to individual needs.
Your responsibilities will include preparing discharge summaries, reports and documentation for CPA meetings, as well as First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers’ hearings. You will arrange and review clinical tests and investigations, take responsibility for chasing results and act promptly on findings. Supporting physical health care is a vital part of the role, including sharing responsibility for bloods and ECGs with the site phlebotomist, and ensuring ward staff carry out physical observations in line with medical instructions.
You will participate in learning activities, supervision and Clinical Governance initiatives, contributing to audits, research and teaching. Delivering staff training relevant to the service user group and supporting service development will also form part of your remit. To ensure continuity of care, you will work effectively with colleagues to maintain medical cover at all times, including participation in the on-call rota and providing prospective cover for other specialty doctors during leave periods.
As an Associate Specialist Doctor, you will:
<ul>
 <li>Undertake psychiatric and external assessments for clients referred to the unit to determine the appropriate level of care to be provided, under the direction and supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist, and work with the MDT to ensure delivery of the Care Programme.</li>
 <li>Prepare discharge summaries, reports and other associated documentation as necessary e.g. for CPA meetings, as directed and supervised by the Consultant Psychiatrist.</li>

Join the team as an Associate Specialist at Ty Gwyn Hall and deliver high-quality clinical services to service users in an open rehabilitation setting. The hospital provides 40 male and female beds across four wards and offers a supportive environment where recovery and independence are at the heart of care. 
Working closely with the Responsible Clinician and a multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure that each service user receives a holistic, person-centred treatment programme based on the recovery model. Families and friends play an active role in this process, helping individuals progress towards more independent living wherever possible.
As an Associate Specialist, you will take responsibility for reviewing patients’ mental state, managing physical health concerns and ensuring comprehensive health screening upon admission. You will prepare reports for tribunals and hospital managers’ hearings under consultant supervision, and depending on experience, may provide oral evidence. Your role will also involve completing discharge documentation, seeking collateral histories and contributing to clinical governance through audits, research and teaching. Collaboration is key, and you will work effectively with colleagues to maintain medical cover and provide prospective cover during leave periods.
