<p>You will be working alongside a full time Responsible Clinician, as well as the wider MDT of which they form an integral part. There is a regular multi-disciplinary Team meeting daily and weekly so that care and treatment is adequately planned. The team has dedicated administrative support which is based within the hospital as well as a physical health team.</p>

    <li>Providing prospective cover to other AS doctors when they are on leave.</li>

<p>Join the team at Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey as a 0.6FTE&nbsp;Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will be providing strategic leadership and expert psychiatric leadership and clinical oversight within forensic mental health services, acting as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act and delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to individuals involved with the criminal justice system.</p>
<p>As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for male service users on our medium secure wards. The RC will have the support of a non-consultant grade doctor as well as secretarial support.</p>
<p><strong>Where you will be working:</strong></p>
<p>Farmfield Hospital is a 64-bed secure unit with both MSU and LSU wards for male patients. The hospital is purpose built and run by the highly experienced Elysium Healthcare group. This is a Band 7 post for two days per week, for a one year fixed term to cover maternity leave. The post is based in East Brighton Neighbourhood Mental Health Team and you will be working with people with complex mental health problems, their families and carers.</p> <p>We are keen to support your professional development and will support you to undertake additional specialist training relevant to the post, plus the regular CPD opportunities for psychological professionals available in the Trust.
