<p>Join the team at Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey as a 0.6FTE&nbsp;Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will be providing strategic leadership and expert psychiatric leadership and clinical oversight within forensic mental health services, acting as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act and delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to individuals involved with the criminal justice system.</p>
<p>As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for male service users on our medium secure wards. The RC will have the support of a non-consultant grade doctor as well as secretarial support.</p>

CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist - Full-Time/Part-Time Flexibility

  <p> CYP Cognitive Behavioural Therapist &amp; CBT Lead - Brighton &amp; Hove Wellbeing Service.</p> <p> Permanent Contract - 30 Hours per week. We will also consider part time hours.</p> <p> Band 7: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (pro rata)</p> <p>The post-holder will work within our Children and Young Persons (CYP) Service providing cognitive behavioural assessments and interventions. You will work alongside other CBT therapists and psychological therapists. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a wider strategy to increase access to evidence-based interventions to children and young people exhibiting mental health difficulties in Brighton &amp; Hove.</p> <p>The post holder will hold a specific role in relation to the CBT pathway and will work alongside the two established Counselling Leads who have responsibility for counselling pathways. We work closely with CAMHs, the local authority and a range of voluntary and community sector organisations to deliver effective short-term therapeutic interventions.</p> <p>TThe post-holder will join a team of CBT therapists and will provide CBT to children and young people with a range of anxiety and low mood related difficulties. CBT will be delivered via online and face-to-face appointments. Some flexibility to work from home and from service bases is required. You will have responsibility for triaging referrals, assessing mental health difficulties and delivering CBT to indicated, evidence based national guidelines.</p> <p>The post-holder will liaise with children and young people, their parents, families, carers and/or additional supporting professionals to ensure effective and practical support. We are located in a purpose-built department in a brand new, modern and innovative hospital.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will undertake clinical work in a highly specialised area which requires consideration of the risks associated with working with ionising radiation and infection control. The person needs to possess the empathy and skills to help patients through difficult and complex procedures. </p>  <p>Assess patient referrals, manage care, safely prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and scan patients. </p>  <p>The post holder will be required to perform image processing and produce results to the highest technical standards. </p>  <p>To support the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist, PET-CT Superintendent, and Lead Superintendent and to work collaboratively with other clinical colleagues to provide an efficient and effective service. </p>  <p>To work within regulatory frameworks and follow all Local Rules and Standard Operating Procedures designed to ensure a safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and associated regulations.</p>  <p>To work in all Nuclear Medicine departments and weekend and evening duties as required.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The Brighton and Hove Group Treatment Service delivers groups alongside 1:1 sessions for clients in secondary care. The service provides a psychoeducational group program using the Recovery model developed within a CBT approach, drawing on mindfulness, self- compassion and acceptance and commitment therapy. The psychoeducation component aims to support people in developing an understanding of their difficulties and the development of new life skills. </p> <p>This role includes facilitation of psychoeducational and creative groups. </p> <p>The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing referrals to the GTS and manage the daily running of the service at this site.</p> <p>You will also hold a caseload of service users with complex needs and will be expected to use evidence based / client centered principles to assess, plan and evaluate interventions.</p> <p>This post is open to Mental Health Nurses and Occupational Therapists.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be responsible for assessing patients (which includesassessment for suitability for the group treatment programme), and providing individual therapeutic interventions to support the group work.</p> <p>You will be in charge of facilitating groups and managing your own clinical case load, you will also have Lead Practitioner responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in working within a psychological framework, and facilitating and developing groups. The GTS provides an excellent supervision package to facilitate this learning. </p> <p>This role will require you to process referrals and manage the team on a day to day basis. You will have supervision responsibilities and need to liaise with ATS and the specialist services who access GTS.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to take the role of Lead Occupational Therapist, Band 6 with the Brighton &amp; Hove Group Treatment Service (GTS).</p> <p>We are looking to recruit into a part-time position working four days a week.</p> <p>The OT specific responsibilities of this post are to lead the development of occupational therapy practice across the GTS, introducing and developing clinical initiatives and offer professional support and development to junior OT staff within the GTS.</p> <p>The Brighton and Hove Group Treatment Service delivers groups alongside 1:1 sessions for clients in secondary care. The service provides a psychoeducational group program using the Recovery model developed within a CBT approach, drawing on mindfulness, self- compassion and acceptance and commitment therapy. The psychoeducation component aims to support people in developing an understanding of their difficulties and the development of new life skills. </p> <p>This role includes facilitation of psychoeducational and creative groups. </p> <p>The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing referrals to the GTS and manage the daily running of the service at this site.</p> <p>You will also hold a caseload of service users with complex needs and will be expected to use evidence based / client centered principles to assess, plan and evaluate interventions.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be responsible for assessing patients (which includes assessment for suitability for the group treatment programme), and providing individual therapeutic interventions to support the group work.</p> <p>To lead the OT specific practice within GTS, offering professional supervision and preceptorship.</p> <p>You will be in charge of facilitating groups and managing your own clinical case load, you will also have Lead Practitioner responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in working within a psychological framework, and facilitating and developing groups. The GTS provides an excellent supervision package to facilitate this learning. </p> <p>This role will require you to process referrals and manage the team on a day to day basis. You will have supervision responsibilities and need to liaise with ATS and the specialist services who access GTS.</p> <p>You will need to understand interventions relevant to the care group to include assessment, psychoeducation, clinical care and interventions, group facilitation, wellness recovery action plans and discharge planning.</p>

The team provides an alternative to hospital admission by delivering intensive community-based interventions and acts as a gatekeeper for hospital admissions. If admission is necessary, the CRHTT helps shorten the inpatient stay by facilitating a supportive discharge back to the community.</p> <p>The Haven: This is a 24/7 community-based mental health crisis unit, designed as an alternative to Emergency Department (ED) attendance for those without acute physical or medical issues. The Haven provides a safe, comfortable environment for comprehensive assessment and risk formulation, aiming to develop an appropriate care plan and onward clinical pathway. The extended timeframe allows for more thorough assessment and coordination of community support.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an innovative and resilient clinician who can offer evidenced based assessment and interventions for service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. This post will offer a full range of evidence-based psychological interventions as well as complex assessments, formulations and consultations to colleagues from other disciplines within the team. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for an experienced Radiographer or Technologist to work in our Nuclear Medicine department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. This is a great opportunity to join us in a state-of-art Nuclear Medicine department. You will ensure a high-quality scanning service administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing Nuclear Medicine scans, including PET-CT. You will also have the opportunity to assist with Molecular Radiotherapies. You will be supported by senior Technologists, Consultants, management, and dedicated Physics and Admin staff.</p> <p>You will be expected to have technical expertise as well as good clinical knowledge. You will be capable of responding to challenges and working cooperatively as part of a large MDT. As a senior Technologist or Radiographer you will help ensure effective day-to-day operations of the service. You need to be resourceful and innovative to ensure prompt service delivery and timely care to our patients, and maintain good relationships with colleagues.</p> <p>We see a wide range of patients of all ages and perform a variety of clinical studies, including cardiac, paediatric and PET-CT. The service currently runs Monday-Friday but is expanding to encompass weekend working. Some work at our satellite department in Haywards Heath is required. This role would suit a dynamic individual who is looking to broaden their experience and to make a positive contribution to the future development of UHSussex Nuclear Medicine.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will undertake clinical work in a highly specialised area which requires consideration of the risks associated with working with ionising radiation and infection control. The person needs to possess the empathy and skills to help patients through difficult and complex procedures. </p>  <p>Assess patient referrals, manage care, safely prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and scan patients. </p>  <p>The post holder will be required to perform image processing and produce results to the highest technical standards. </p>  <p>May be required to supervise Technologists/radiographers and support staff.</p>  <p>To support the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist, PET-CT Superintendent, and Lead Superintendent and to work collaboratively with other clinical colleagues to provide an efficient and effective service. </p>  <p>To work within regulatory frameworks and follow all Local Rules and Standard Operating Procedures designed to ensure a safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and associated regulations.</p> <p>To work in all Nuclear Medicine departments and weekend and evening duties as required.</p>
