Upping Ward is our 15 bed intensive Support Service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and complex mental health needs. The service pathway provides a robust programme of care for women with challenging high risk behaviour who experience difficulties with engagement with therapeutic programmes. We aim to meet the needs of these women, who may have had previous inappropriate placements, in a less restrictive setting.</p>

  <p>Cygnet Hospital Beckton is a is a gender specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs.
Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions and personality disorder services.

Women can be admitted to New Dawn if they have a diagnosis of personality disorder, exhibit self-harming behaviour and are able to accept the need for help. Service users can be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act.</p><p><b>Upping Ward </b>is our 15 bed intensive Support Service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and complex mental health needs.   <p>We are seeking to recruit an experienced CAMH/CMHS practitioner to join the Tower Hamlets Education Wellbeing Service (THEWS).</p> <p>THEWS is a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) established following the government Green Paper: Transforming Children &amp; Young People's Mental Health Provision.
