  <p><strong>Are you dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people?</strong></p> <p><strong>Do you thrive in environments where you can help to deliver impactful, short-term interventions?</strong></p> <p>We, the Crisis and Home Treatment Service (CAHTS), embedded within the Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), are looking for a Mental Health Practitioner to join us, based in Swindon.</p> <p>You will be required to participate in a Full time working pattern within the multi-disciplinary team to provide cover for a core day 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 10am-6pm Saturday -Sunday and Bank Holidays. You will also participate in covering the service's 24 hour on call service on a rota basis.</p> <p>We work closely alongside and liaise with the Getting More Help Teams on supporting children, young people (CYP) and their families experiencing complex mental health needs.</p> <p>Our CYP might be at risk of inpatient hospital admission or transitioning out of inpatient care; our role is to provide intensive, short-term support within the community. No two days are the same, with plenty of variety in this role and lots of opportunities for learning.</p> <p><strong>This role carries an incentive premium of £3,500 which will be paid in instalments over an 18th month period.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>In CAHTS, we're committed to deliver a high quality, comprehensive mental health services for children, young people and their families who are experiencing additional mental health needs.</p> <p>Children and Young people within our service are often experiencing an increased level of mental health needs, including exhibiting increased risk behaviours. Whilst this can sometimes feel daunting, we have a strong multi-disciplinary leadership team who are responsive to the needs of the team.</p> <p>You might support CYP and their families with psycho-social education or provide practical support, drawing upon evidence-based interventions.</p> <p>Liaison, advice and consultation with wider CAMHS, colleagues in Children Services and a range of external agencies such as Children's Social Care, Education and many more.</p> <p>In this role, you would be responsible for initial assessments and delivery of time limited, short term interventions to address emotional and mental health needs of young people in crisis, with the aim of reducing longer term mental health problems.</p> <p>Check us out on YouTube: BSW RECRUITMENT - YouTube</p>

  <p>An opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or an OT to join the Swindon Recovery Team at Chatsworth House, Swindon, Wiltshire. <p>The role focuses is on providing effective interventions and treatments to people with severe and enduring mental health needs, and their carers.   <p><strong>Are you an autonomous registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a new role in West Oxfordshire?</strong></p> <p><strong>Do you have experience of working in mental health services and understand the challenges that the Adult care group can bring?</strong></p> <p>North and West AMHT have an opportunity for a Band 6 RMN to become part of a well established Multi disciplinary Team on a full time basis.</p> <p>The service has a new leadership team structure, with new team leaders in place leading to an improved culture and team. The role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop and broaden their leadership skills - mentoring, supervising, and developing the careers and skills of others, as well as yourself.</p> <p>The MDT consists of medics, psychological therapists, social workers, OTs, RMNs and support workers, as well as embedded workers from the third sector to support with employment, housing and social needs. The team is highly supportive and committed to delivering high quality patient care; where the caseload can be demanding, diverse and frequently complex.</p> <p>We care deeply about our patients and their loved ones and believe in listening and responding as a team; piloting new models, supporting each other and developing and using new care approaches. We aim to improve patient care as well as provide increase staff satisfaction and sense of achievement.</p> <p>You <em><strong>will </strong></em>need to be able to travel around the county, to offer interventions to patients and carers, so access to transport is essential.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>Working within the treatment function of the AMHT you will co-ordinate the care for patients with severe and enduring mental health diagnosis.</li>
<li>You will work autonomously, with a caseload of patients with whom you will engage and offer the recommended treatment and support.</li>
<li>You will have experience of providing community mental health care and able to assess and plan treatment with service users.</li>
<li>You will also be able to assess and manage risk, including use of Safeguarding processes.</li>
</ul>
<p>There are opportunities for team working and facilitating groups such as MBT/CBT based interventions.</p>
<p>Our AMHT provide an assessment and treatment function and the staff working within the team work on a rota covering shifts from 07.00 to 21.00 (7 days/week). The successful candidate will be required to work mainly 9-5 Monday to Friday however there is an expectation that there is flexibility to cover the out of hours shifts when required.</p>
