  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This post is primarily focussed upon working within the CAMHS adolescent in-patient unit, but will also involve working closely with the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly community CAMHS team, including working with young people who are attending the day-patient facility, to ensure a seamless whole service approach. The role of Activity Coordinator / Healthcare Assistant involves working a rotational shift pattern, including day and night shifts, weekends and bank holidays as required. The role includes supporting the multidisciplinary team's assessment, planning and delivery of care needs of young people who have been admitted to the adolescent in- patient mental health unit. The role includes carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered nurse. This may involve working on a one-to-one basis with young people to maintain their safety. As part of a team, and under direct or indirect supervision, the Activity Coordinator will provide high quality mental and physical health care to young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties and their families. The post holder will also assist in service and best practice developments, contributing to the evaluation of programmes of care by reporting to the clinical supervisor, registered nurse or other members of the multidisciplinary team as appropriate.</p>

If so, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly's NHS Talking Therapies is the service for you!</strong></p> <p>We are currently recruiting qualified PWPs as part of an exciting expansion which has quality patient care and staff wellbeing at the heart of it.</p> <p>You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team who are striving towards gold standard ways of working. We have an attractive relocation package for applicants looking to move to Cornwall to work in service.</p> <p>Applicants must have completed PWP training from an accredited Low Intensity course, have experience working in the stepped care model delivering Low Intensity Psychological Interventions to patients experiencing mild to moderate common mental health difficulties and have PWP registration. We will also accept applications from candidates expecting to complete their PWP training within the next 3 months. PWP registration must be applied for on successful completion of the training.</p> <p><strong>Please note that this is a hybrid remote role and there is an expectation for the successful candidate to work in-person within Central Cornwall a few days each week.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a PWP you play an integral part in the everyday workings of the service, from promotional work to assessing patients to providing clinical evidence-based interventions to help service users make lasting changes in managing their mental health.</p> <p>Post holders will be completing clinical contacts 1:1 face to face, over the telephone, video consultation, group courses (remotely and in person) and CBT. Where needed, holding discussions with step 3 and/or step 4 clinicians to ensure step ups and safe onward referrals are completed and that patient dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times. There will also be opportunities for community outreach work to promote the work we do to other services, educational settings and careers events.</p> <p>The post-holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. The post-holder will be required to work at any times between 8am and 8pm on weekdays, as required by the service. The post-holder will also be required to participate in evening clinics offered by the service between 5pm and 8pm.</p> <p>Alongside LI and HI CBT, the service offers Counselling for Depression, Couples Therapy for Depression, Mindfulness based CBT, IPT and EMDR. We are currently establishing good links with our Primary Care Networks and Secondary Care Mental Health Teams.</p>

  <p><strong>This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.</strong></p> <p>This role sits alongside other practitioner psychologists, psychological therapists, assistant psychologists, trainee psychologists, Clinical Associate Psychologists (CAPs) and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs) embedded in an experienced, compassionate, trauma informed and person-centred multidisciplinary team which welcomes psychological interventions and collaborative working. </p> <p>The role is a varied one providing assessment (including neurodevelopmental), formulation, individual and group interventions, and consultation using a range of therapeutic approaches. </p> <p>You will also support psychological practice within the team by contributing a psychological perspective to team working, treatment planning and supervising other psychological professionals. </p> <p>There is a key focus on quality to enhance services.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative radiographer/technician who ideally has previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine, to join our small team.</p>
<p>We are a state of the art department comprising of 2 hybrid SPECT/CT scanners and 1 dual headed gamma camera. We carry out diagnostic imaging, non imaging examinations and treat benign and malignant diseases by means of our therapy service.</p>

  <p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full range of Nuclear Medicine duties including routine scanning, processing, dispensing and administration of Radiopharmaceuticals using relevant systems of work and applications.
