  <ul>  <li>To provide specialist occupational therapy service to children &amp; young people with eating disorders.</li>  <li>To undertake comprehensive assessments of each patients needs to formulate individualised management &amp; treatment plans.</li>  <li>To provide specialist advice to patients with eating disorders deemed to be a high physical risk. To be aware of &amp; be able to identify patients at high physical risks, including the risk of refeeding syndrome &amp; provide appropriate nutritional advice regarding the management of risk together with liaison with the MDT regarding the management of risk in these patients, linking with medical and dietetic colleagues in the other Eating Disorders teams &amp; with acute medical services as necessary.</li>  <li>Deliver a range of non-pharmacological interventions following specific Occupational Therapy assessments to enable understanding of any expression of an unmet need &amp; to maximise an individual's abilities.</li>  <li>Complete and contribute to robust risk assessments &amp; risk management plans.</li>  <li>Utilise agreed outcome measures as part of the care planning &amp; evaluation process.</li> </ul>   <h3>About us</h3>

<p>Therapist - Complex Trauma Service (CTS)</p> <p>Location: Shrewsbury/Tamworth area</p> <p>Salary: up to £46,178 doe</p> <p>Permanent - Full Time, 40 hours (p/t may be considered)</p> <p>Reports to: Clinical Director and the person nominated by them to be your line manager/supervisor</p> Job Role <p>You will be providing a trauma informed therapeutic service for children and young people through staff training, consultation, individual assessment and direct therapy. The therapist will support staff to build positive and healthy relationships with young people to enable them to grow, develop and achieve their full potential through the use of a range of therapeutic approaches such as DDP, PACE, Therapeutic Parenting etc.</p> <p>This role will require you to work holistically to help staff develop the children and young people's wellbeing, independence and social and emotional resiliency, as part of the consultative model and with a multi-disciplinary approach with other professionals involved.
