  <p>This role is based in the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service (IAPT) and it aims to develop the Step 2 service provision within NHS Talking Therapies</p>
<p>In the role you will offer evidence-based practice in guided self-help/low intensity CBT, assessing and treating our local population. Alongside this, you will support access into service for populations that we do not reach effectively, covering the Global Majority and Older Adult (65+) demographics. You will use special knowledge and experience in these areas to help organise, run and Step 2 therapy groups for specific populations, liaising with the 3rd Sector.</p>
<p>You will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may be called upon to work in various community settings (including GP surgeries and other, 3<em>rd</em> sector, settings) and psychological treatment centres.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<li>Provide assessment and Step 2 interventions, (psycho-educational interventions, Guided Self Help, computerised CBT) to patients registered with GP practices/health centres and or resident in Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin, drawing from CBT theories and techniques</li>
<li>Provide a service that is comprehensive and accessible to a broad range of patients who have commonplace mental health problems and who are over 16 years of age</li>
<li>To provide a service that is equitable and non-discriminatory in terms of age, gender, ethnicity and disability.</li>
<li>Develop specific group work within the community, liaising with Third Sector and other Health Organisations</li>
<li>Maintain a strong EDI focus internally within the team, as well as externally.   </li>
<li>Have theoretical and practical clinical knowledge of Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as a strong understanding of Culturally Responsive practice.</li>

  <p>An exciting position has arisen within our Lichfield Mental Health Support Team. We are looking for an experienced &amp; enthusiastic Education Mental Health Practitioner.</p> <p>Youwill continue to build on the fantastic work carried out within your allocated schools. The role is varied &amp; no two days are the same, you may be setting up and delivering group work &amp; assemblies one day to delivering assessment &amp; interventions the next, as well assupportingschools to develop their whole school approaches to mental health &amp; wellbeing.</p> <p>You will be skilled &amp; experienced in conducting mental health assessments of children and young people (CYP) presenting with common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and low mood. You will conduct risk assessments &amp; identify the right level of support for CYP you come into contact with.</p> <p>Alongside the clinical aspect of your role, you will play an integral part in supporting schools with their whole school approaches. There is scope for creativity and opportunities to work alongside CYP &amp; parents/carers to drive the whole school approach agenda.</p> <p>This is an opportunity to be involved in an established team within the wider CAMHS structure, as a joint initiative between health &amp; education. You will work across the Staffordshire locality as well as supporting other MHSTs across South Staffordshire. You will work deliver parent, staff well-being, 1:1 &amp; group work sessions. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>Assess and deliver outcome focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, working at all times in collaboration with and giving respect to the education function of the setting in which the post-holder is deployed.</li>  <li>Work in effective, evidence-based partnership with children, young people, their families and their educators in the development of plans for the intervention and agreed outcomes.</li>  <li>Support and empower children, young people, their parents/carers and families and their educators to make informed choices about the interventions being offered.</li>  <li>Operate at all times from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity</li>  <li>Accept referrals within educational settings according to agreed local and national and local protocols</li>  <li>Undertake and record accurate assessments of risk and operate clear risk management processes in line with locally agreed procedures including the safeguarding protocols of the educational setting and Local Safeguarding Board guidance</li>  <li>Adhere to all regulations, processes and procedures within the educational service to which the post holder is attached within the educational setting where the post-holder working including (but not limited to) HR policies, training requirements, referral protocols, and emergency procedures.   <p>The post holder will be working within a busy team alongside a team ofregistered mental health nurses and be supported by the Team Manager,Senior Clinical Lead/CBT Practitioner, and team administrators.</p> <p>Post holders will have a high level of autonomy working across designated GP practices, managing their own clinics and providing mental healthassessment and evidenced based treatment for people aged over 18. You will provide a service to people who exhibit complex common mental health needs and stable, predictable and enduring serious mental health needs. You will be expected to develop and manage all aspects of their service, such as waiting lists according to local need, working within the parameters of the service operational policy.</p> <p>A key aspect of this role is GP consultation, liaison, education and training. You will be expected to attend GP practice meetings at least twice a year to discuss the service and actively seek feedback and report any issues to the team leader as well as areas for improvement and any innovative practice for sharing and disseminating. Staff will be expected to autonomously manage high volumes of referrals. Staff are expected to work on their own initiative in a busy and demanding service and to be able manage change effectively.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

This specialist provision delivers intensive, evidence-based care to children &amp; young people experiencing moderate to severe eating disorders. This innovative service aims to bridge the gap between inpatient and community care, offering a safe and structured alternative to Tier 4 admission &amp; facilitating earlier discharge from hospital settings.</p> <p>Operating through a MDT working collaboratively to provide holistic, person-centred care, each professional brings their expertise to support physical health monitoring, nutritional rehabilitation, psychosocial interventions &amp; occupational engagement, all tailored to the unique needs of each young person &amp; their family.</p> <ul>  <li><strong>In-reach and Outreach support</strong> to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions &amp; reduce relapse.</li>  <li><strong>Intensive day hospital interventions</strong> focused on recovery, risk management, &amp; re-engagement with daily life.</li>  <li><strong>Meal support and psychoeducation</strong> for young people &amp; their families, promoting sustainable recovery at home.</li>  <li><strong>Multidisciplinary care planning and supervision</strong>, ensuring continuity &amp; quality of care across settings.</li>  <li><strong>Training and consultation</strong> to professionals and carers, enhancing system-wide understanding and support for eating disorders. </li> </ul>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
