North Durham are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is keen and passionate
about delivering and promoting maternity care in the acute hospital setting. Support
workers provide care to mothers, birthing people, their newborn infants and

  <p> Maternity Support Workers (MSWs) work in line
with the nationally recognised NHS Maternity support worker competency,

provided with the appropriate training to meet the requirements of the

  <p>This small, friendly, multi-disciplinary team is based at Arun House in Worthing town centre, due to move into the Worthing Integrated Care Centre (WICC) in April 2025. The service offers support and treatment to people aged 14 - 65 who have experienced either a first episode of psychosis or present with an At Risk Mental State. Practitioners in the team are passionate about their work, and are committed to supporting families and working in a psychologically informed way.</p> <p>The AAW EIP team is one of 6 Early Intervention in Psychosis teams provided by the Trust. The teams have a single service-wide governance group which oversees and leads on the delivery of care. Organizationally, the teams sit within the Trust's Children and Young People's Services division.</p> <p>You will be provided with individual clinical supervision, group supervision for family interventions and opportunities to link with other Peer Support Workers both within EIP and other services for peer support and development.</p> <p>Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and learning disability services in and across Sussex. This vacancy is an opportunity for people with lived experience of mental health challenges.</p> <p>As a <strong>Senior Peer Support Worker</strong> you'll use your own lived experience of mental health challenges, using empathy to support service users/families who are accessing mental health services.</p> <p>The service you'll be working in is Buckinghamshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT). IHTT is a supports in providing families with intensive community intervention. We are looking for a motivated individual with lived experience of being a care giver to a young person with significant mental health difficulties. The individual would be able involved in supporting and guiding families during a period of crisis that can present as chaotic, stressful and distressing. You will work alongside the young person, the family or carers and a CAMHS core care team, including a care coordinator, to plan a comprehensive package of care including interventions tailored to the family's needs.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will support children, young people and their families for a period of intervention that can range between the short and medium term, and alongside the team provide intensive support during a mental health crisis while offering a range of support to reduce the likelihood of admission to inpatient hospital services, and stabilise their mental health while in a community setting.</p>
<p>The support is mainly provided in their home environment and can also include support accessing school provision and community based resources. The IHTT is able to offer and engage families in a higher level and more intensive plan of support, including the ability to conduct multiple visits across a week and sometimes daily as required.</p>
<p>The role is predominantly based in Sue Nicholls Centre, Aylesbury, with additional expectation to work from Saffron House, High Wycombe.</p>
<p>The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.</p>

The role will be for a Peer supporter for the Memory and Later Life Services based at Lilyhall Business Centre in Workington.</p>   <p>The Peer Supporter role is a vital part of our plan to continually improve the service that we provide. The role is aimed at people with personal lived experience of supporting and having responsibility for a friend or relative with dementia.</p>   <p>The principal role of the post will be to support carers throughout their journey of supporting someone within our services following assessment, through to accessing care and treatment and beyond.</p>   <p>This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a Clinical Team, utilising your personal experience to provide support, validation and hope for people following diagnosis, creating an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of carers and families.</p>   <p>The role focuses on creating trusting relationships whilst supporting carers to manage the challenges and changes that a caring role can bring following a diagnosis and throughout treatment.</p> <p>This will be a challenging, but rewarding role, working with a diverse range of people who are caring for anyone who has new or suspectedmemory problems, including those with a diagnosis of dementia, and people in later life who have anxiety, depression or psychosis made more complex by physical health needs.</p>

  <p>This is a part time post working 22.5 hours per week for a fixed term of 12 months based at the Stonebow Unit, Hereford. We would consider less hours for the successful candidate but would have to be a
minimum of 15 hours. The salary quoted is pro rata for part time hours.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated individual with lived experience to support our current quality improvement programme on our older adult mental health inpatient wards. The post will be funded via the Royal College of Psychiatry`s Culture of Care Programme.</p><p>This programme aims to improve the culture of inpatient mental health, learning disability and autism for patients and staff so that they are safe, therapeutic and equitable places to be cared for, and fulfilling places to work.</p><p>Integrated Lived Experience takes the form of true co-production, the role focusses on creating a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for both staff and patients. There is an emphasis on developing change ideas in line with the programme alongside the wider MDT and core project team.</p><p>We can offer flexible working and will be supporting the successful applicant with training whilst in post.</p><p>The post is fixed term due to time
limited nature of the funding which will end in
12 months. We reserve the right to

<p><strong>RECONNECT Peer Support Worker - Essex</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Essex</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £24,484</p><p><strong>Vacancy Type:</strong> Permanent</p><p><strong>Closing Date:</strong> 2nd January 2026</p><p><strong>Role Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Within this role, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, inclusive and bespoke RECONNECT service, including advice and guidance to Forward Trust clients across HMP Chelmsford and the wider community in Essex.</p><p>RECONNECT enables service users to access and sustain supportive interventions upon release from prison, whether that be substance use needs, physical health or mental health support, in addition to general well-being advice and guidance. The service will offer mentor link in, sign-posting, GP referrals, aftercare support and a connection to the wider Forward community.
