<p>Working as part of a transdisciplinary team, you will provide formulation-led, person-centred care in our Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation service which provides care and treatment for adult males and females with acquired brain injury and challenging behaviour. </p>
<p>Supervising an Assistant Psychologist and working closely with clinicians from a range of disciplines, your specialist input will be key in achieving good patient outcomes. With the support of the team, you will administer neuropsychological and psychometric assessments that support the formulation of behavioural interventions seeking to manage challenging behaviour and enhance rehabilitation. </p>
<p>You will support therapeutic sessions by engaging in induvial and groupwork sessions, where appropriate, alongside other members of the team, and will assist in clinically relevant administrative duties, including developing and conducting audits, analysing and interpreting behavioural data, and developing and delivering staff training. In addition, you will join the senior management team and input into clinical governance, ensuring that the psychologically led model is both evaluated and effective. There are also opportunities to conduct research within the service. </p>
<p>You will be provided with supervision and support from the Clinical Directors and will be able to access a range of training opportunities to help both you and the service flourish. </p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:&nbsp;</strong></p>

    <li>To take responsibility in leading and overseeing the specialised psychological assessment and therapy programme in operation at the service</li>
    <li>To supervise and manage other members of the Psychology profession employed within the service</li>

To provide expertise, advice and support to facilitate the effective and appropriate provision of psychological treatments by other members of the transdisciplinary team.</li>

    <li>Actively engage in and contribute to appropriate local and national networks and with other stakeholders to raise the profile of Moorlands Neurological Centre and Elysium Neurological. </li>

<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you'll need</strong></p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for an experienced Band 3 HCA to work within a busy community team. The post is based in Crewe, working within Crewe Care Community.</p>
<p>The role includes caring for patients who are approaching the end of life. The post holder will undertake clinical tasks as delegated by the Community Nurse team and within sphere of competency.</p>
<p>You will be working without close supervision, and will therefore need to use your own initiative, whilst following the patient's care plan. You must also be passionate about making a difference to people's lives, helping them to live as well as possible and to die with dignity.</p>
<p>As well as being able to work independently, you will possess good time management and organizational skills and be expected to be innovative and flexible to work in other areas - if required - to meet service need.</p>
<p>To join our dedicated, caring team, you will need excellent communication skills and emotional strength. We will expect you to have a talent for forging strong empathetic relationships with a variety of people, whilst providing palliative care. We will of course provide excellent on-going training and support.</p>

  <p>Your role will include delivering a range of nursing interventions to patients in their own homes. This includes wound care, phlebotomy, medication administration and risk assessments.</p>

  <p>B7/8a Preceptorship Clinical Psychologist Post</p>  <p>We are a friendly and innovative team looking for a like-minded and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join us at the Sutherland Centre in Dresden, Stoke-on Trent. We would consider a newly qualified B7 for a preceptorship post and provide support to move to the 8a in due course. The post provides an exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving and fast paced adult community mental health service and to work with service users who have complex mental health difficulties. We have been developing services to improve our offer of psychological therapies and to embed new clinical pathways, putting us in a great position to support team members in pursuing specific areas of interest such as evidence-based interventions for psychosis or complex trauma.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>On appointment, you will be a core and valued part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team, working alongside a Consultant and Principal Clinical Psychologist, as well as other psychology and therapy colleagues. There are opportunities to develop your clinical skills in a range of group and individual interventions such as CBT, CFT and CAT. You will have the opportunity to receive excellent supervision and there are a range of CPD opportunities. We provide access to supervision and interest groups in various models (CAT, CFT, EMDR), as well as opportunities for participation in quality innovations, research, and audit. We have strong links with the local Clinical Psychology Training course at Staffordshire University. </p>    <h3>About us</h3>
