<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>

    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
    <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>

Specialist Pharmacist - Outpatient Rheumatology and Bone Health

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for a creative and motivated professional with experience of supporting young people with their mental health needs to join our team as a youth justice link worker. The post holder will work within Trafford CAMHS as a senior clinician. You will need to be a registered professional. This could be from a range of backgrounds including clinical psychology, psychotherapy, social work, nursing or occupational therapy. You will understand young people's mental health and have experience working with risk and trauma informed practice. One working day will be spent based within Trafford Youth Justice team, part of the local authority children and young people's services. The successful candidate is required to managea caseload and provide a range of high quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, providing consultation to colleagues within Youth Justice and to wider networks such as social care and, Greater Manchester Police and courts. The post holder will have a range of skills and knowledge to deliver care in a multi-agency team setting and receive clinical supervision and management supervision from local CAMHS service, and peer supervision with the CAMHS and youth justice teams. Experience of assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions will be advantageous.</p>

<p>The primary purpose of the Recovery Engagement Worker (Expert by Experience) role is to contribute to the delivery of recovery-focused, trauma-informed support services by drawing upon personal lived experience of substance misuse recovery and/or related life challenges such as mental health, homelessness, or involvement with the criminal justice system.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. The Neighbourhood population are often a cohort of people who are often perceived as not suitable, too complicated for the current structures or fall though the gaps.</p> <p>We are values driven and use our values to guide our decision making.   <p>You will increase the levels of psychological support and care provided to people who access the service. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions/groups to people supported by the NMHT. You will also offer supervision, consultation, training and reflective practice groups to support all staff to work in a psychologically-informed way. As the NMHT is a developing and changing service, there will be ongoing opportunities for service development, audit and evaluation.</p> <p>There will be opportunity for the role to be developed by the successful candidate to fit the needs of the Wigan population. You will be supported by the team Principal Clinical Psychologist and NMHT Management team.
