  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Assistant Psychologist to join our Older Adult Inpatient Psychology team in North Cumbria.The Older People's Inpatient Service in North Cumbria is based at the Carleton Clinic in Carlisle and consists of a 15 bedded Dementia Assessment Unit and a 10 bedded Functional Unit. The post holder will support the psychology team across the two wards in undertaking direct clinical work and audit and service evaluation on the older people wards.The post holder will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team members including Clinical Psychologists, CBT Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nursing Staff, and Psychiatry colleagues. The post holder will have access to regular supervision and CPD.The post is based in Carlisle in North Cumbria, providing easy access to the Lake District, an area of outstanding natural beauty.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder's main duties are to assist qualified psychologists in the delivery of psychological services in the pathway; providing psychological assessment and specific interventions under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist, working independently within the limits agreed with the psychology supervisor.</p> <p>The post holder will produce assessment and intervention professional reports.The post holder will support the service in the delivery of training initiatives.The post holder will utilise research skills for audit, literature reviews, service development and other research initiatives within the pathway or wider service.The post holder will receive direct weekly management and clinical supervision from a Consultant or Principal Clinical Psychologist.The post holder will show initiative to work independently to an appropriate level.The post-holder will provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The CAP role is central to the team's psychological provision, with opportunities for 1:1 therapy using a Structured Clinical Management model, offering group interventions, and joint assessment and consultation. There will be opportunities for leadership, research, service development and consultation to the system, which will involve liaising with professionals involved in the in care of the individual. The teams work closely as MDTs, with weekly clinical meetings where complex cases can be thought about and MDT formulations can be developed.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist to join AWP Secure Services.</p> <p>This role involves opportunities to work across our medium and low secure hospitals for men, women, and individuals with learning disabilities and autism, who present significant risks and mental health challenges such as psychosis.</p> <p>You will be part of a team of specialists and experienced psychological therapists, contributing to the establishment of a new Psychological Therapy Service (PTS).</p> <p>You will have opportunities to work alongside Clinical Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Art Psychotherapists, Drama Therapist, Music Therapists as well as trainees, assistants and students within our integrated PTS.</p> <p>This collaborative environment offers opportunities to work closely with service users across the spectrum, providing comprehensive and innovative therapeutic interventions.</p> <p>Secure Inpatient Services consists of Fromeside, an 81 bed medium secure unit and Wickham, a 30 bed low secure unit, both based on the Blackberry Hill Hospital site in north Bristol. The service includes a specialist women's ward and a specialist 8 bedded ward for men with learning disabilities and/or autism. We have a large, friendly psychology team with expertise in working with people with a wide range of presenting difficulties including; violence, sexual offending, fire setting, learning disabilities, autism, personality disorders and psychosis</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The roles will involve providing direct clinical work, consultation, teaching and staff support, supervision, and working collaboratively with other members of the MDT including psychiatry, nursing, arts psychotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.</p>
<p>The role will involve completing specialist assessments, developing complex formulations and designing and delivering individualized therapeutic interventions; as well as facilitating therapeutic groups and engaging in complex systemic work.</p>
<p>There will also be the opportunity to engage in service development projects. The successful post-holders will need be adaptable, creative, to have good communication and team working skills, and to have experience and/or interest in working with people with significant mental health difficulties such as psychosis, who present a significant risk to others.</p>

and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Criminal
Justice System (CJS); providing psychological assessment and psychological
interventions, working independently according to a plan agreed and within the
overall framework MHTRs, and St Andrews policies and procedures.</p><p>The service is psychology-led and
holds psychological assessment and formulation, as well as the service users we
work with, at the core of everything it offers.</p><p>Experience of using a range of

  <p><strong>Outpatient Services</strong></p><p>Our service specialises in developing
and delivering community based services for St Andrews. We offer a range
of services including, a busy private therapy clinic, a Medico-Legal Service,
Diagnostic Assessment Clinics (ADHD and ASD), a Complex Trauma Service for
Military Veterans, a community transition service and a range of MHTR services
across the midlands and east of England. We support LightBulb a schools based
mental wellness programme and are able to offer a comprehensive development
plan for those wishing to gain a range of experience.</p><p><strong>The Role and Person</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for delivering
outcome based psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs
of service users living in the region.You will supervise a number of
assistant psychologist supporting them in a manualised treatment approach,
whilst working with the wider team on more complex cases. You will be offered
supervision from a consultant Psychologist working within our service, they
will encourage you to develop your strengths and skills with opportunities for
professional development. </p><p>The service is community based and
appointments are offered where possible in the service users locality as well
as remotely via telephone and video. As some travel will be required, a
full drivers licence is essential or access to good public transport links.
