<p>Join the team as an Associate Specialist at Ty Gwyn Hall and deliver high-quality clinical services to service users in an open rehabilitation setting. The hospital provides 40 male and female beds across four wards and offers a supportive environment where recovery and independence are at the heart of care. </p>
<p>Working closely with the Responsible Clinician and a multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure that each service user receives a holistic, person-centred treatment programme based on the recovery model. Families and friends play an active role in this process, helping individuals progress towards more independent living wherever possible.</p>
<p>As an Associate Specialist, you will take responsibility for reviewing patients’ mental state, managing physical health concerns and ensuring comprehensive health screening upon admission. You will prepare reports for tribunals and hospital managers’ hearings under consultant supervision, and depending on experience, may provide oral evidence. Your role will also involve completing discharge documentation, seeking collateral histories and contributing to clinical governance through audits, research and teaching. Collaboration is key, and you will work effectively with colleagues to maintain medical cover and provide prospective cover during leave periods.</p>


<p><strong>As an Associate Specialist, you will be:</strong></p>

  <p></p><p>The Home Treatment Crisis Resolution Team is based at Bronllys Hospital, near Brecon. The team provides Acute Psychiatric Care to individuals at home rather than inpatient care. The service operates between 9:00am and 9:00pm, 7 days a week. The service is provided to the populations of Breconshire, Radnorshire and Ystradgynlais. The team works closely with the Community Mental Health Teams based in the catchment area and inpatient ward.</p> <p>The role includes assessing the suitability of home treatment for individuals presenting with acute mental illness or severe distress, which can be safely managed in the person's home. The CR/HT service will provide a service for adults who are experiencing a Mental Health crisis and are at risk of admission to Hospital. Intensive Home Treatment will be provided in collaboration with the service user and in the least restrictive setting, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year as per rota. CR/HT will also facilitate the early discharge of those admitted to inpatient units, through intensive but time limited intervention in the community.</p> <p>The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.</p>

a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist at our forensic mental health hospital, Heatherwood
Court. Comprising of a Locked Rehabilitation Service (1 female ward) and a Low
Secure Service (1 male and 2 female wards), Heatherwood Court treats patients with
complex needs, including severe and enduring mental illness, complex trauma,
and difficulties consistent with a diagnosis of personality disorder. </p><p></p><p>We are looking for applicants with
experience of working with service users with complex needs and risk behaviours
along with those who have an interest and prior experience of delivering
evidenced-based interventions for people with personality disorder and/or
complex mental health problems. We are particularly interested in candidates
who have received DBT training, but would offer training to suitable candidates
on appointment.</p><p></p><p>









</p><p>This post will join an established, dynamic
team of psychologists including a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, , Forensic Psychologist and
Assistant Psychologists, working as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary
team. The team are also supported by Positive Practice Workers, graduate
psychologists in blended role combining both support worker shifts and clinical
days with the teams. There are also regular opportunities to network with the

  <p></p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 7 Prosthetist to join the NHS prosthetic service based in Rookwood Hospital, Cardiff. This role involves delivering a high quality prosthetic service across both adult and paediatric caseloads including those with complex needs. The successful candidate will also provide a highly specialised service for war veterans, utilising advanced techniques and state of the art prosthetics.</p>
<p>The Prosthetic and Amputee Rehabilation Centre ( PARC) in Cardiff provides care and support for approximately 1700 users. The service provides individualised assessment, the issue, maintenance and repair of prosthetic devices and ongoing clinical patient care. The prosthetic team currently consists of 9 Prosthetists and 11 technical staff offering a clinical service to a large and varied caseload supported by a full multidisciplinary team. The multidisciplinary team consist of consultants, prosthetists, psychologists, physiotherapists, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, admin and technical support, all working together in a patient focussed service. The prosthetic clinical service is supported by onsite manufacture by a highly skilled technical workforce.</p>

The post holders will undertake the role of care co ordinator / care manager in the assessment, treatment and delivery of care to older people with mental health problems who meet the criteria for access to the service. They will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality care is carried out in accordance with policies and procedures Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust.</p> Qualifications <p>You will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Occupational Therapist or Social Worker and have experience of working with people with serious and enduring mental health needs. <p>We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Access to Intervention Team as a Senior Mental Health Practitioners on the Isle of Wight. We will offer a period of 72hrs assessment, brief intervention in various formats if identified, and signposting to appropriate services.</p><p>Dependant on experience within the mental health field, the following core professional roles will be considered for these posts - Registered Nurse Mental Health, Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist (Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Children and Young People and Adult Mental Health).</p><p>The service is the front door for most of the referrals received into secondary Mental Health Services and cover Urgent and Emergency assessments across the age continuum. The team also support the Mental Health Crisis Line for the island providing immediate support to those in crisis.</p><p>The successful candidate must have experience working with people with mental health problems. You must be enthusiastic, person-centred, and able to provide a flexible and creative approach to care delivery.</p>
