<p>We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Senior Radiographer to join our friendly team here at the Great Western Hospital.</p>
<p>The Great Western Hospital are currently looking to expand their Radiology department to support the recovery and current demand within diagnostics. The Radiology department hosts digital plain film rooms, multiple CT scanners , Interventional and Mobile equipment.</p>
<p>This is a fantastic opportunity for established Radiographers with NHS experience looking to increase their knowledge and work with state-of-the-art equipment which currently includes a 5% recruitment and retention premium.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Radiology Department undertakes approximately 251,300 examinations a year ranging over a variety of modalities. The successful applicant will be a keen team player who has image quality and patient care high on their agenda with a flexible approach to working hours. The department supports the development of your clinical skills and education, we encourage staff CPD.</p>
<p>The Great Western Hospital conducts diagnostic radiological examinations across a range of clinical specialities, adapting techniques to accommodate a range of patient types; both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multidisciplinary team, in a manner that meets professional, departmental and legal requirements.</p>

We operate a CT and MRI shift pattern involving evenings, weekends and overnight CT duties, whilst maintaining the opportunity to enhance earnings through overtime.</p> <p>Our Imaging department comprises of 4 new Siemens CT scanners that perform a diverse number of examinations on a weekly basis e.g. CT guided ablations, cardiac scans and colonography examinations. Additionally, we have 2 onsite 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanners and a 3T Siemens Vida as well as the exciting opportunity for training and rotation on a state of the art 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanner located at Broadgreen hospital. The Radiology department covers a wide spectrum of imaging examinations including Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac, Pancreatic, Vascular and Renal Transplant.</p> <p>MRI experience desirable for this post.</p>

  <p>Perform specialist clinical duties by undertaking complex specialised radiological examinations in CT and MRI and all aspects of patient care associated with this.</p>
<p>To perform imaging examinations at a consistently high technical and professional standard.</p>

welcoming and professional team within the Breast Unit at Barnsley Hospital NHS

Unit delivers high-quality diagnostic breast imaging for both the NHS Breast
Screening Programme and the symptomatic breast service, working closely with a
multidisciplinary team to provide safe, timely, and patient-centred care. In
this role, you will independently carry out the full range of mammographic
procedures, offer clinical guidance to colleagues, and contribute to ongoing
service development. You will also have opportunities to engage in audit,
training, and multidisciplinary meetings, ensuring our patients receive the

looking for a qualified Mammographer with a Certificate of Competence in
Mammography and significant clinical experience. You will have strong
communication and interpersonal skills, work confidently both independently and

is based at Barnsley Hospital and our state-of-the-art Community Diagnostic

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The band
6 Mammographer will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient
breast screening and diagnostic imaging service within the Breast Unit. The
postholder will perform the full range of mammographic procedures
independently, applying professional judgement and technical expertise to
produce accurate diagnostic images while maintaining the highest standards of
patient care and dignity. They will provide clear explanations to patients,
assess clinical needs, adapt techniques to individual circumstances, and give
provisional reports on screening mammograms in line with established protocols.</p><p>The role
also includes supporting and guiding colleagues, supervising radiographers,
students and assistants, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings.
The postholder will assist the Superintendent Radiographer with operational
efficiency, clinical audits, and service improvement initiatives, ensuring
compliance with clinical governance, safety standards, and radiation protection
legislation.</p><p>This
position requires a motivated professional who can combine technical excellence
with compassion, clear communication, and teamwork. The successful candidate
will champion continuous improvement, maintain CPD, and actively support the

  <p>We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious and motivated Rotational Senior Radiographer (Band 6) for Core Services Plain X-ray, CT and possible rotation to MRI. This Position will be based at St. Bartholomew's Hospital which is in the heart of the City of London- St. Paul's. </p> <p>Come and join our friendly and supportive team of Radiographers, where continuous professional development is encouraged. You will be exposed to a wealth of knowledge and experience guided by our expert clinical leads. In addition you will have the opportunity to use your initiative and to augment to your skills and experience</p> <p>We offer a full range of local and specialist services, which includes centres for the treatment of cancer, heart conditions, fertility problems, endocrinology and sexual health conditions. The hospital includes the site of the new state-of-the-art Barts Heart Centre.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join Europe's largest specialised cardiovascular centre. The appropriate candidate will have good general radiographic experience, be resilient, flexible and able to demonstrate leadership and clinical supervision skills.   <p>The aim of this role is to provide high quality, effective Imaging services to a wide range of services which are supported by Imaging including General and A&amp;E x-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres and CT. There is also a possibility of rotation to MRI. The post holder will work closely with Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades to provide safe, prompt and effective imaging of patients.</p> <p>Patients may be unconscious, un-cooperative, incapacitated, incompetent or with physical or mental disabilities. Some may exhibit anti-social or threatening behaviour. It is necessary to provide empathy and emotional support to the bereaved, terminally ill injured and traumatised.</p> <p>The service operates 24 hours a day 365 days per year.</p>
