  <p>The Trusted Relationships Service has grown from strength to strength since the original Home Office funding in 2018. We have now secured 3 more year of funding and we are looking for two enthusiastic, independent, clinicians to come and work alongside our other 8 clinicians, for 2 days a week.</p>
<p>This is non-case holding post, clinicians do not have any direct patient contact.</p>
<p>Instead, you will work with Police and Social care staff to support their work safeguarding children who are at risk of extrafamilial abuse and exploitation. Based within the Complex Safeguarding teams, across Greater Manchester, the Trusted Relationships clinicians work with staff to facilitate psychological awareness, particularly in relation to trauma, by offering case-based consultation, staff support and bespoke-training.</p>
<p>The Trusted Relationships Service is a team within the GM Resilience Hub, and consequently clinicians have access to a range of expertise and CPD opportunities.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Trusted Relationships clinicians are generally based in Police stations, offering a face to face service to Complex Safeguarding staff.</p> <p>There are three key areas of service delivery:</p> <ul>  <li>case-based consultation, offering psychological formulations to help staff understand any number of different factors influencing the children and families they are supporting and how this might impact their relationships and approach to safeguarding.</li>  <li>bespoke training and workshops to teams and sometimes to staff across the wider complex safeguarding workforce</li>  <li>staff support, this can be one-to-one or in a group format but is developed in collaboration with the staff to meet their needs.</li> </ul> <p>There are times when Trusted Relationship's clinicians my need to offer support to teams who have experienced a critical incident, however, this is done in collaboration with Clinical Lead and with the back up of the GM Resilience Hub.</p> <p>Please see the Job Description for more details.</p>

  <p>The Trusted Relationships service requires highly specialist clinicians to work with a significant degree of autonomy and independence and have good levels of personal organisation. However, given the complex-nature of the work and the potential for regular exposure to traumatic material there are a lot of opportunities for support and CPD.   <p>As an HCPC registered Allied Health professional, reporting to the Consultant psychological lead for Tower Hamlets, you will supervise the clinical and professional aspects of all arts therapists working in in adult mental health services. Their line management will be held by other colleagues in either inpatient or locality psychology teams. </p> <p>You will ensure that the art therapists are supported to meet resident's needs via group, partnership working and 1:1 work. This will be through development of guidance and best practice for the art therapy professionals in the borough. Ensuring that activity is effective, acceptable and increasingly co-produced.   <p>1. To be responsible for the overall provision of a specialist Arts Therapies assessment and treatment service for adults within the Directorate</p> <p>2.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated individual to join Springbank Ward as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.</p>
<p>Springbank Ward is an award-winning service which provides inpatient treatment to women with a diagnosis of EUPD/Complex Emotional Needs. We take an innovative and least-restrictive approach as we support service-users to return to the community after frequently spending a lengthy amount of time in other inpatient settings. Our service-users typically complete a 12-month programme involving both DBT and a wider therapeutic activity and group programme. As the only NHS inpatient unit of its kind, our service-users come from across the country.</p>
<p>As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, your role will be to work with the Occupational Therapist to support service-users on Springbank Ward to improve in their overall functioning, engaging in a holistic approach with a focus on engagement in meaningful activity.</p>

<p>The OTA will not be expected to run all of the groups on the programme however they will be required to work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the ward programme can be delivered by all members of the team.</p>
<p>The post holder will ensure regular review of groups and activities are held with the service users on a monthly basis and make changes to programme as needed.</p>
