Are you passionate about ensuring patients receive high quality support which is autism informed. If so, this post might be for you. </p> <p>We are looking to recruit a permanent Band 8b Practitioner Psychologist who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our Neurodiversity Directorate. You will support our mental health wards and community pathways by offering specialist case supervision and consultation. There will be opportunities to offer training to staff and support with organisational change. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be responsible for the clinical leadership of a new consultation and supervision pathway which will include incorporating al aspects of clinical governance, and provision of high-quality clinical supervision. </p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for the systematic development and provision of a highly specialist autism consultation offer for the mental health teams and wards in the North Lincs area.. </p> <p>The post holder will develop and provide support that meets the agreed neurodiversity service priorities. This will include training/supervision of other team members and the provision of consultancy and supervision work for the assurance of improving the quality of care our mental health professionals offer our autistic community. </p> <p>The post holder will provide consultation around risk assessments and advice on risk managements, and the provision of psychological advice and consultation to others involved in patients care.</p> <p>The post holder will also supervise and support other neurodiversity practitioners and colleagues with governance responsibility for monitoring quality of practice.</p> <p>The post holder will work closely with the Consultant Psychologist, Lead Nurse and Service Manager for the Adult Neurodiversity Pathway in contributing to the strategic development of the directorate.</p> <p>The post holder will aim to evaluate the outcomes of the new pathway </p> <p><em>We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if there are a high amount of applications</em></p>

  <p>An opportunity has arisen to work in an exciting and dynamic service providing high intensity psychological interventions for the North Lincs Talking Therapies team.</p>
<p>We are looking for a psychotherapeutic counsellor who has the energy, enthusiasm, and skills to join our team who is committed to making a difference within the RDaSH Talking Therapies service. The service has been well established providing a stepped care, evidenced-based model for the treatment of people with common mental health problems. You will be hard-working and able to meet specified targets, in order to deliver a high quality talking therapies service.</p>
<p><strong>It is essential for applicants to be trained in the NHS Talking Therapies counselling modality Counselling for Depression, and hold relevant registration/accreditation.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide a qualified specialist psychological therapy service to clients in the modality of Counselling for Depression. This involves providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy, within one or more psychological therapy models specified by the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual.</p>
<p>It will involve supervision of other colleagues as appropriate.</p>
<p>The post holder works autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.</p>

<p>This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team to support service users across a number of small complex care services, and residential care homes in Yorkshire (Barnsley &amp; Rotherham) and potentially other services within the Yorkshire &amp; Midlands region.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic adults, and a passion to learn and develop, to join our friendly team in the region.</p>
<p>As an Assistant Psychologist, working 37.5 hours a week, you will assist in clinically related activities and administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, and training of staff. You will engage with the multidisciplinary team and ensure that the service users are fully engaged in their care pathway.</p>
<p>Your role will include a significant focus on providing behavioural support to Autistic adults and adults with a Learning Disability.&nbsp; You will develop and implement individualised behavioural support plans based on service users’ needs and goals, including encouraging independence and development of life skills with a focus on improving quality of life. </p>
<p>You will be responsible for functional behaviour assessments and observations, positive behavioural support planning and implementations, incident analysis and facilitating PBS workshops and other training programmes. </p>
<p>Training opportunities will be available for the successful candidate along with clinical and management supervision.</p>
<p><strong>The role involves travelling to different services within a geographical region so a driving licence and access to a car would be required to fulfil this role.</strong> </p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>

    <li>Working closely with the people we support to develop and implement individualised behavioural support plans that both meet their needs and help to develop their independence and life skills</li>
    <li>Completing psychological and behavioural assessment tools and analysing complex data</li>

    <li>Providing high quality written reports</li>
    <li>Being involved with incident analysis &amp; reflective practice</li>

<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you will need:</strong></p>

    <li>An undergraduate degree (2.1 or above) in Psychology that confers graduate basis for chartered membership (GBC) by the British Psychological Society (BPS)</li>
    <li>Experience of working with people in a similar or related field relevant to the post</li>
    <li>Knowledge of PBS theory/practice</li>
    <li>Have a good understanding of the legal frameworks that are relevant to the role (e.g., Mental Capacity Act)</li>
