  <p>St Richards Hospice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, skilled and compassionate Counsellor to join a well-established and highly respected counselling team at St Richards Hospice, where you will combine clinical counselling with a leadership and supervisory role.</p><p>The St Richards Counselling Service sits within the Family Support Team and provides a specialist bereavement and pre-death counselling service to clients in South Worcestershire. The team also encompasses the Bereavement Support South Worcestershire Service, offering group support those dealing with a sudden or unexpected death.</p><p>Working within our Family Support Team, you will undertake comprehensive assessments and provide one-to-one counselling and therapeutic group work for people affected by life-limiting illness or bereavement. You will manage your own complex caseload while also recruiting, supporting and line managing our team of counselling students and volunteers.</p><p>Being a team player is essential to this role, as you will work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for our patients, their families and clients. You will also support the counselling allocation process and contribute to the delivery of education and training, both within the hospice and externally. You will also participate in the Family Support and Bereavement Referral Line rota.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will have a recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy, hold membership of BACP (or an equivalent professional body), and be accredited or working towards accreditation.</p><p>Experience of working with patients with an illness that cannot be cured, along with their families and carers, is essential to the role. Substantial knowledge of grief and loss, and a deep understanding of the emotional needs of bereaved people, is crucial.</p><p>You will have a supervision qualification and experience facilitating therapeutic groups, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to work confidently with a wide range of individuals and professionals.</p><p>It would be advantageous if you hold (or are willing to work towards) a leadership qualification and have previous experience in leadership or line management.</p><p>Due to the nature of this role, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.</p>

  <p>MyTime Reigate is a day care provider for adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, sensory impairments, and complex physical and/or social needs</p> <p>We are looking to recruit into our team, a highly motivated, enthusiastic support worker who can work flexibly within our day service provision.</p> <p>Our service offers a broad spectrum of tailored day opportunities through centre-based and community activities, helping people to improve their social skills whilst supporting to participate in new experiences.</p> <p>We remain passionate about people, delivering person-centred care through extensive therapeutic activity-based support.</p> <p>People using our service find our service homely, welcoming, and stimulating.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To communicate effectively and appropriately with people who use the service, colleagues and other professionals maintaining professional relationships between all people.</p> <p>To attend to care needs identified within the care plan ensuring respect, privacy, and dignity always.</p> <p>Involve people in the development of their own care and support.</p> <p>To always maintain the safety of people, alerting senior staff to any identified risks whether perceived or actual.</p> <p>To work with individuals in a respectful and person-centred way</p> <p>To have a sound awareness of Safeguarding issues being clear about their respective roles and responsibilities to report, respond to and share information in relation to Safeguarding Adults, Safeguarding Children, Domestic Abuse and Public Protection.</p> <p>To contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the teams in which he/she works. </p> <p>To undertake any other duties at the request of the line manager which are commensurate with the role, including project work, internal job rotation and absence cover.</p> <p>To contribute to a health and safety working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and Trust policies, contributing to the prevention and control of health care associated infection by adhering to Trust policies and guidelines.</p> <p>To actively be involved in Personal development Planning process via Supervision and Appraisal.</p>
