<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>MFT CAMHS Emerge 16-17 CMHT offer developmentally appropriate accessible and young person centred mental health services to young people aged 16 and 17 years, who live in Manchester Salford and Trafford. Under supervision the post holder will manage a caseload and provide a range of high quality care appropriate to the young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and evidence based interventions. The post holder will have a range of mental health and engagement skills and knowledge to deliver care in line with trust values from with in a multi-disciplinary team setting.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To undertake initial assessment with young people in a holistic and young person-centred way, including gathering of appropriate information from the child / young person, their family and from other relevant agencies</p>
<p>following assessment, to develop a formulation and plan for intervention, In partnership with the young person and those in their support net work and communicating this to the referrer and other relevant professionals.</p>
<p>d  Under Supervision to assist with duty activity, offering telephone support, liaison and consultation services to young people and relevant professionals</p>
<p>To liaise with a range of other statutory and voluntary / 3rd sector professionals working in other young peoples services</p>

  <p>This is a brilliant opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to join our Duty &amp; Assessment team and promote and improve the mental health and well-being of Children, Young People and those who care for them. Working for North Manchester CAMHS, you'll work with Children and Young People aged up to 18 years and who present with a wide range of complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.   <p>To assume responsibility for management of a defined caseload and exercise the highest standards of professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children, young people and their families/carers using specialist knowledge and evaluation of care programmes in collaboration with children, young people and their families/carers, liaising with and referring to relevant agencies.</p> <p>To participate in a duty rota including receipt and screening of referrals, obtaining further information if needed and responding promptly to emergency requests for assessments or contact, signposting, and advice.</p> <p>To undertake assessment of children, young people including risk assessment, gathering appropriate information their family/ carers and other relevant agencies</p> <p>To develop a formulation and plan for intervention with the child, young person and parents/carers.   <p>With current NMC, HCPC, SWE or BABCP registration alongside a recognised qualification, you'll have a working knowledge of CAMHS and/or adult mental health and have an understanding of assessing complex mental health needs &amp; levels of risk, including safeguarding and self-harm.</p>
<p>Using your experience of working with vulnerable people and their carers who present with complex mental health needs and are often a risk to themselves or others, you'll undertake assessments and formulate plans for intervention, in collaboration with the Child, Young Person and those who care for them.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an experienced Band 3 HCA to work within a busy community team. The post is based in Sandbach, working within SMASH care community.</p>
<p>The role includes caring for patients who are approaching the end of life. The post holder will undertake clinical tasks as delegated by the Community Nurse team and within sphere of competency.</p>

<p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p>
<p>You will work 37.5 hours a week as the Senior Psychologist for a service that offers (Neuro-Forensic Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation for adult males).</p>
<p>In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and under the direction and supervision of the Joint Heads of Psychology, you will support the delivery of psychology services across St Mary’s Hospital. In the absence of the Joint Heads, you will act as the primary point of contact between the psychology department and the senior management team.</p>
<p>As the Senior Psychologist you will have active participation in multidisciplinary team work, ensuring that our service users are fully engaged in their care pathways. It also includes supporting clinical team efforts through both direct interventions and the facilitation of staff training programmes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new initiatives and ways of working within the service and working in partnership with both internal and external agencies to enhance treatment pathways for service users.</p>
<p>There is a strong emphasis on teamwork, supervision and CPD, with support from a regional network of Psychologists.</p>
<p><strong>As a Senior Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>

<p>Working as part of a transdisciplinary team, you will provide formulation-led, person-centred care in our Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation service which provides care and treatment for adult males and females with acquired brain injury and challenging behaviour. </p>
<p>Supervising an Assistant Psychologist and working closely with clinicians from a range of disciplines, your specialist input will be key in achieving good patient outcomes. With the support of the team, you will administer neuropsychological and psychometric assessments that support the formulation of behavioural interventions seeking to manage challenging behaviour and enhance rehabilitation. </p>
<p>You will support therapeutic sessions by engaging in induvial and groupwork sessions, where appropriate, alongside other members of the team, and will assist in clinically relevant administrative duties, including developing and conducting audits, analysing and interpreting behavioural data, and developing and delivering staff training. In addition, you will join the senior management team and input into clinical governance, ensuring that the psychologically led model is both evaluated and effective. There are also opportunities to conduct research within the service. </p>
<p>You will be provided with supervision and support from the Clinical Directors and will be able to access a range of training opportunities to help both you and the service flourish. </p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:&nbsp;</strong></p>

    <li>To take responsibility in leading and overseeing the specialised psychological assessment and therapy programme in operation at the service</li>
    <li>To supervise and manage other members of the Psychology profession employed within the service</li>
    <li>To provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to resident’s formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan. To provide expertise, advice and support to facilitate the effective and appropriate provision of psychological treatments by other members of the transdisciplinary team.</li>
    <li>Contributing to other specialised assessments as required, including of risk and capacity, and to provide advice to other professions on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management.</li>
    <li>Actively engage in and contribute to appropriate local and national networks and with other stakeholders to raise the profile of Moorlands Neurological Centre and Elysium Neurological. </li>
    <li>In conjunction with the Clinical Directors, to ensure all non-medical therapeutic approaches are underpinned by the appropriate conceptual model, have an empirical evidence base, and that their effectiveness is measured.</li>
    <li>To routinely monitor service level clinical outcome measures to make certain that the service is a centre of clinical excellence, and where necessary identify areas for continual improvement in the quality of the therapeutic programme.</li>

<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you'll need</strong></p>
