This role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills by supporting a growing brief psychological intervention service as well as working within a busy MDT providing assessment, formulation, and brief interventions for a wide range of mental health needs.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service</strong> (PC CEN) delivers brief psychological support for individuals with emotional and relational difficulties, associated with personality disorder.With additional investment the service will expand to also offer intervention to people with complex PTSD who may fall between the gap between primary and secondary MH services.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS) </strong>provides mental health triage, assessment, brief interventions, advice, and signposting for diverse mental health issues.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role operates across both the PC CEN Service and the Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS), covering South Wiltshire. While your formal line management will sit within the PC CEN Service, you will also maintain close links with the Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).</p>
<p>As the PC CEN Psychologist, you will lead the locality team through a period of service expansion. You will be responsible for supervising therapists and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs), ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex emotional needs and complex PTSD.</p>
<p>In your role within PCLS, you will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide psychological assessments, formulations, brief interventions, and appropriate signposting for a broad spectrum of mental health presentations.</p>

  <p>The post holder will provide face-to-face evidence based psychological therapy in an AWP/ NHS site or other community setting in the Wiltshire and Dorset area.   <p>Dorset CAMHS is recruiting a Lead Clinician for a fixed term period of 6 months to support the expansion of the Mental Health in Schools Support Team based in North &amp; East Dorset.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams are part of an exciting trailblazer project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners, withthe aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. There is a specific focus on developing moreaccess to helping and improving the general culture of emotional support within all primary and secondary schools including special educationalprovisions and Pupil Referral Units.</p> <p>We are looking for a confident professional with a demonstrable track record of providing quality evidenced based interventions. You will have significant experience of supervising clinicians and be able to evidence operational leadership skills and abilities.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed clinician who has experience working with complex cases within the area of community mental health with individuals who struggle with complex trauma, severe mental health illness and / or personality disorder.</p><p>Applications are invited for qualified clinical associate psychologist looking to extend their clinical and team working knowledge and experience.</p><p>The postholder will use a range of evidence-based psychological models and protocols when addressing individualised patient need and critically appraise these models and interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT, CFT) to inform treatment planning and appropriate choice of treatment protocols and understand how to interpret treatment choices with individuals, groups and other healthcare colleagues, when managing complex and chronic needs.</p><p>The role offers exciting opportunities for direct clinical interventions and multi-disciplinary team working, implementing evidence-based programmes of group and individual psychological therapies as well as providing consultation and supervision to other team members.   <p>We are seeking a High Intensity Modality Lead to support and manage the delivery and development of additional modalities within NHS Talking Therapies Southampton.</p> <p>As a High Intensity Modality lead you will act as clinical lead within an area of expertise, provide expertadvice to psychological therapists and other professionals. You’ll engage NHS Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and Local Authorities, as well as engaging with government level strategic programmes, developing partnerships that align with our corporate strategy ‘working together to build communities that care’ You will ensure that we utilise the experience, expertise, and reputation of Rethink Mental Illness to help shape care and support services, change the way in which services are delivered through new partnerships and grow our service offer to improve the lives of people severely affected by mental illness in places we operate, and beyond.</p><p>The release of the NHS 10 Year Health Plan for England in 2025, titled ‘Fit For The Future,’ presents new opportunities to influence the government’s three major initiatives: transitioning care from hospitals to community settings, incorporating digital technology, and focusing on prevention rather than treatment. These objectives align with our Corporate Strategy and are pursued through our internal Mission Delivery Boards.</p><p>You’ll work with other people and agencies, in a joined-up way, so that people living with severe mental illness receive coordinated support.
