At The Mead we believe that anyone who suffers from mental illness has the opportunity to live life to the full. Each resident has a ‘key worker’ who takes a special interest in their wellbeing, supporting them in what they wish to achieve while living at the home.</p><p><strong>How you will make a difference:</strong></p><p>As a Mental Health Support/Recovery&nbsp;Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. They provide a listening ear, help with childcare issues and practical assistance where a family needs it most.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be part of an experienced and reflective multi-disciplinary team offering generic and specialist assessments and treatment as well as providing complex case consultations. As well as individual child psychotherapy, we also offer parent child relationship focused interventions, parent infant psychotherapy and STPP.</p>
<p>Psychotherapy is valued within Oxford Health and in Banes, Swindon and Wiltshire we have 9 child psychotherapists and 5 trainees across the 5 CAMHS teams and we meet annually with our counterparts in Oxford and Buckinghamshire, so you would be joining a strong network of child psychotherapists who meet regularly to think about our work.</p>
<p>You will receive regular clinical and management supervision within an environment that values the mutual support and skills of team members. Oxford Health has a strong training culture and we have a trainee in each of our CAMHS teams, the successful applicant would take responsibility for her service supervision.   <p>You will provide one to one high intensity CBT or EMDR, alongside stabilisation and collaboration with Peer Specialists to provide the Flourish care model for adults with symptoms of PTSD and C-PTSD.</p> <p>Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential.   <p><strong>Are you an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist looking for a new challenge?</strong></p> <p><strong>We have a new opportunity for a part time Clinical Psychologist to join our CAMHS Eating Disorders Team, where you will have the opportunity to use and develop your specialist skills.</strong></p> <p>You'll be working as part of a team that has recently won the Oxford Health staff 2024 Flexible team award. We pride ourselves in investing in staff with training and development opportunities available to all. Training, supervision and special interests groups are available to enhance your competencies in delivering specific therapeutic interventions including FT-AN, CBT (including CBT-E), NET etc.</p> <p>As a more senior member of the team supervision, consultation and leadership are key and training and development opportunities related to this are multiple.</p> <p>You'll be spending your time in our Specialist Eating Disorders Team. The CAMHS teams are multidisciplinary and you will be part of a psychological therapies workforce that includes a Consultant Psychologist, band 7 Psychologist, clinical associate Psychologists, Trainee Psychologists, CBT Trainees / Therapists and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, which consists of Psychologists, Family therapists, Psychotherapists, Children's Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, and in a team where a number of specialist clinics are offered eg LD, NDC, FT, ED, you will find plenty of opportunities to learn from colleagues and share expertise.</p>
<p>On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service ensuring the systemic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service to clients with eating disorders and complex mental health problems including severe, enduring and multiple disorders. You undertaking mental health assessments, formulating, risk assessing and devising evidence-based care plans for children and young people (CYP). Collaborative working is key and we are proud of the relationships the team has with partner agencies including Salisbury District Hospital.</p>
<p>We have a strong psychology network and professional leadership across the 5 CAMHS teams in BSW (Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) and strong links with the Doctoral Training course at Bath University.</p>

Mental Health Liaison Senior Support Worker - Salisbury

  <p>Are you a fitness instructor passionate about mental and physical health and wellbeing? If so, we have an exciting part time opportunity (30 hours per week) in our in-patient mental health unit in central Southampton, joining our supportive and dynamic multi-disciplinary teams working with adults with a range of mental health conditions.This is not a conventional gym instructor role, you will be using exercise as a therapeutic tool. You will be flexible, creative, resilient, able to think on your feet and adapt sessions to suit the needs and abilities of service users. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be approachable and encouraging. You will facilitate individual and small group sessions, completing inductions and fitness plans. Facilities include cardio machines, weights and a cable machine.Previous experience of planning and facilitation sessions, designing programmes and a keen interest in working within the mental health setting is essential.You will receive regular supervision and be supported to develop your skills in working with service users and within this environment.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To co-ordinate and conduct exercise programmes (including individual and group sessions) for service users.To work as part of the occupational therapy service providing input to groups and sessions promoting healthy lifestyles.To work closely with the occupational therapists and the multi disciplinary teams in the unit, recognising and immediately escalating any concerns around patient deterioration or lack of progression.Responsible for recognising signs of a potentially unwell patient while under their care either in class or individual setting and escalating appropriately in a timely manner.To be responsible for the diary management of their sessions/service users.To ensure the fitness room and equipment are maintained to the agreed standard reporting issues to the Occupational Therapy team manager.</p>
