  <p>We have an opportunity to join our experienced and established team of Clinical Psychologists within our multidisciplinary Community CAMHS Team.</p> <p>You will have be qualified and registered as a Clinical Psychologist. You will also have experience of working with children and young people, preferably within a community CAMHS service.</p> <p>Weston-super-Mare and Clevedon are thriving seaside towns within easy commuting distance to Bristol and Taunton. The M5 motorway is within easy access. Weston-super-Mare is a growing multi-cultural area with numerous amenities and has access to the beautiful coastline and also the Mendip Hills. Perinatal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The post is 0.5wte Senior Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Therapist for Longview Ward which is the female acute ward at Hopewood Park. The post will be part of the wider MDT working with service users on Longview Ward.</p>
<p>We are delighted to be offering a Band 8a Clinical Psychology post within our Adult Inpatients Service based at Hopewood Park Hospital, Sunderland and are looking for enthusiastic Clinical Psychologists or Psychological Therapists to provide specialist psychological input on our wards. Previous experience of working in an inpatient setting either pre/during or post clinical psychology training is desirable but not essential.</p>
<p>There are three acute adult inpatient wards at Hopewood Park, two male and one female, Each has the provision of a 0.5 WTE (18.75 hours) Psychologist, supported by a 0.5 WTE Higher Assistant Psychologist. There is an 8c Consultant Psychologist post across all the 3 acute wards.</p>
<p>Adult Mental Health Inpatient Services provide multi-disciplinary care using a biopsychosocial model for service users over the age of 18. The acute service provides care for service users with acute mental health needs who require assessment and treatment in hospital. Service users admitted to hospital are often highly complex and have a range of experiences and difficulties including neurodiversity, psychosis, personality difficulties and learning difficulties, risk to self and others, forensic issues and behaviours that challenge.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post involves providing expertise in applying specialist psychological assessment, including cognitive assessments, collaborative formulation and interventions with service users and working with multi-disciplinary teams to embed formulation and trauma informed care. This includes individual and group based work and involvement of families and carers. It will involve supporting multidisciplinary staff working with service users through supervision, team formulation, contributing to understanding complex risk, developing behaviour support plans and providing reflective practice sessions and training to the teams. The role may also involve research, service evaluation and audit. treatment Requirements as part of a Mental Health Treatment Requirement initiative. This is a unique opportunity to work as a Qualified
Psychologist embedded in probation offices in the Norfolk region. </p><p>Within this role you will support
and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Criminal
Justice System (CJS); providing psychological assessment and psychological
interventions, working independently according to a plan agreed and within the
overall framework MHTRs, and St Andrews policies and procedures.</p><p>The service is psychology-led and
holds psychological assessment and formulation, as well as the service users we

  <p><strong>Outpatient Services</strong></p><p>Our service specialises in developing
and delivering community based services for St Andrews. We offer a range
of services including, a busy private therapy clinic, a Medico-Legal Service,
Diagnostic Assessment Clinics (ADHD and ASD), a Complex Trauma Service for
Military Veterans, a community transition service and a range of MHTR services
across the midlands and east of England. We support LightBulb a schools based
mental wellness programme and are able to offer a comprehensive development
plan for those wishing to gain a range of experience.</p><p><strong>The Role and Person</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for delivering
outcome based psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs
of service users living in the region.You will supervise a number of
assistant psychologist supporting them in a manualised treatment approach,
whilst working with the wider team on more complex cases. You will be offered
supervision from a consultant Psychologist working within our service, they
will encourage you to develop your strengths and skills with opportunities for
professional development. </p><p>The service is community based and
appointments are offered where possible in the service users locality as well
as remotely via telephone and video. As some travel will be required, a
full drivers licence is essential or access to good public transport links.

  <p><strong>Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB).</strong></p> <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Younger Adults Psychological Service in Mental Health Together PLUS, in the West Kent Directorate.</p> <p>This post would suit someone who has a genuine interest in working therapeutically with this varied and rewarding client group.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>To be responsible for the systematic provision of a range of evidence-basedpsychological interventions to working age adults with severe and enduring mentalhealth difficulties referred by the Community Mental Health teams within thelocality.</li>
<li>To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect(consultative, advisory and evaluative) specialist psychology interventions withinthe service and taking substantial professional responsibility and exercisingautonomous judgement in their professional practice.</li>
<li>To ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning byundertaking research and development relevant to the service area.</li>
<li>To be regularly responsible for providing and contributing to training placements for trainee clinical/counselling psychologists and for providing professional support and line-management to basic/senior psychologists in this specialism</li>
