(NPS), have partnered with St Andrews Healthcare to deliver Community Sentence
treatment Requirements as part of a Mental Health Treatment Requirement initiative. This is a unique opportunity to work as a Qualified
Psychologist embedded in probation offices in the Norfolk region. </p><p>Within this role you will support
and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Criminal
Justice System (CJS); providing psychological assessment and psychological
interventions, working independently according to a plan agreed and within the
overall framework MHTRs, and St Andrews policies and procedures.</p><p>The service is psychology-led and
holds psychological assessment and formulation, as well as the service users we
work with, at the core of everything it offers.</p><p>Experience of using a range of
therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy would

and delivering community based services for St Andrews. We offer a range
of services including, a busy private therapy clinic, a Medico-Legal Service,
Diagnostic Assessment Clinics (ADHD and ASD), a Complex Trauma Service for
Military Veterans, a community transition service and a range of MHTR services
across the midlands and east of England. We support LightBulb a schools based
mental wellness programme and are able to offer a comprehensive development
plan for those wishing to gain a range of experience.</p><p><strong>The Role and Person</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for delivering
outcome based psychological therapy that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs
of service users living in the region.You will supervise a number of
assistant psychologist supporting them in a manualised treatment approach,
whilst working with the wider team on more complex cases. You will be offered
supervision from a consultant Psychologist working within our service, they
will encourage you to develop your strengths and skills with opportunities for
professional development. </p><p>The service is community based and
appointments are offered where possible in the service users locality as well
as remotely via telephone and video. As some travel will be required, a
full drivers licence is essential or access to good public transport links.

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0.6wte 8b clinical/counselling/forensic psychologist to provide clinical leadership to the male inpatient pathway at Hellesdon Hospital, which comprises of two wards and a total of 33 beds. You will be joining our well-established psychology team working across the largest acute service in NSFT that comprises of five inpatients wards, 3 of which are part of the new build, and a crisis resolution home treatment team; there is also likely to be one more ward opening by the end of this year. </p> <p>Within the role you will be helping to provide psychological clinical leadership, regarding MDT decision making, risk management and reduction in restrictive interventions. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team colleagues, helping to inform and engage the teams in more psychological ways of thinking and formulating our service users. You will work alongside other psychology colleagues to aid smooth transition and coherent treatment/management plans for service users across the inpatient service line and back into wider community services.</p> <p>You will provide supervision and line management to other members of the psychology team within the male pathway that includes a full time 8a clinical psychologist, B7 art therapist and assistant psychologist. This will include ensuring adherence to evidence base practice, outcome measures and audit data.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The work is challenging, fast paced and rewarding; our psychology team come with a range of specialist interests and therapy expertise and have strong links to the UEA doctorate course. There will be the opportunity for training and development as part of the role.</p> <p>- Ensuring the provision of evidence based psychological assessment and treatment across the male inpatient wards.</p> <p>- Providing specialist assessment and formulation of complex clients to help aid clinical decision making re diagnosis, management of risk and treatment pathways.</p> <p>- Working closely with the wider MDT as well as community services involved, to provide clinical leadership in order to enhance psychological thinking and promotion of psychological formulation to facilitate optimal patient care and promote best practice guidelines.</p> <p>- Working with families and carers where appropriate, particularly on complex cases where the system may feel quite 'stuck'.</p> <p>- Provision of line management and clinical supervision to other clinicians within the inpatient psychology team.</p> <p>- Working alongside the Associate Director of Psychology to help contribute to local and trust level service development and initiatives where appropriate.</p>

<p>Job Title: Psychologist (ADOS-2) - Norwich</p><p>Location: Norwich, Norfolk (Hybrid)</p><p>Role: Permanent </p><p> Salary: £55,000 - £110,000 per annum (depending on experience)</p><p>Start: ASAP</p><p>Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland. </p><p>They provide high-quality services to clients across the UK and Ireland, including neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children as well as expert witness assessments for the courts and parole boards, assessments in criminal/prison law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record of providing high quality assessments and delivering on HSE / NHS contracts.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p> This is an exciting and valuable role within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families and adults. This is a hybrid or remote role for suitably qualified clinicians working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for children referred for autism and/ or ADHD assessments via HSE / NHS Patient choice and their GP. </p><p>Some aspects of the role may be undertaken remotely. Hybrid roles are available to attract candidates with differing levels of experience and geographical locations- including senior roles. </p><p>The role requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/ or ADHD using established diagnostic tools. Assessments of mental health conditions may also be required. Assessments are undertaken on behalf of the HSE / NHS via GP referral.</p><p>The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions. Additionally, the clinician may be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>CORU / HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist</li><li>Must be eligible to work in the UK. </li><li>Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/ specialist developmental assessments with children and young people</li><li>Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting</li><li>Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD</li><li>Knowledge of differential diagnosis</li><li>Ideally ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team</li><li>Experience in report writing and record keeping</li><li>Additional qualifications in relevant areas of autism and/ or ADHD</li></ul>
