  <p>We are excited to be recruiting a clinical or counselling psychologist based in Tier 4 Aquarius general adolescent unit, based at Springfield University Hospital working with young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have regular opportunities for CPD and training.</p> <p>Aquarius ward offers a service for 12- to 17-year-olds experiencing a range of significant and multiple mental health difficulties requiring inpatient treatment. This post will be based within the Aquarius MDT, with strong links with the Adolescent Outreach Team. We are able to offer this role as a full time or part time position.</p> <p>Please note candidates need to be qualified clinical/counselling psychologists (or about to qualify) and registered with the Health &amp; Care Professions Council or clearly state in their application how they are planning to achieve this registration.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We will also consider applications from newly qualified and recently qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologists eligible to occupy the post at band 7 in a preceptorship role. An applicant appointed to the band 7 preceptorship role will be supported through a preceptorship model that includes a professional and clinical development plan for continuing professional development training. A Preceptorship Clinical/Counselling Psychologist will be supported to acquire the knowledge, skills and experience that meet the person specifications for the post at band 8a after a period of 18 months. Where these conditions are met the post holder will be expected to progress to band 8a subject to successful interview.</p> <p>At Band 8a, there will be opportunities to attend supervision skills training, and supervise doctoral clinical psychology trainees, through strong links with the University of Surrey Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) Training Scheme</p> <p>Ideally the post holder will have experience of working within a specialist inpatient CAMHS service. We will offer in-house training, regular supervision and a thorough induction to all new staff. The post is a substantive role.</p>

  <p>We're seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Band 8a, 1.0 WTE) to help shape and deliver psychologically-informed care in our 24/7 recovery house service--a short-stay alternative to hospital admission for adults experiencing acute mental health distress.Working flexibly within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide trauma-informed assessments, brief interventions, and psychological leadership in a recovery-focused, inclusive environment that centres lived experience and cultural safety.</p> <p>Recovery House (RH)is a new and innovative service we are launching that meets an important need for people(18+)experiencing poor mental health. The RH will provide those in crisis with a safe, secure and welcoming environment to support the de-escalation of crisis. The House will be open to new and existing BSMHFT service users and will provide a homely environment, allowing people to retain independence, whilst receiving person centred and appropriate care.</p> <p>The service which is part of the Trust's Urgent Care pathway is a partnership with Birmingham Mind and builds on the range of strong collaborations we have with the voluntary sector.</p> <p>The RH will serve as a base for community integration, allowing service users to connect with local communities and provision, as well as their family/carers.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work in the Hull Children in Care Team.  We are seeking to employ a qualified clinical or counselling psychologist who has experience in the assessment, formulation and therapy of children and young people with histories of trauma.   <p><strong>Assistant Psychologist - Band 4 - Permanent, Full-Time post - 1.0 WTE</strong></p> <p><strong>Inpatient Services</strong></p> <p><strong>Brooklands Hospital, Marston Green, Birmingham</strong></p> <p>Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust has an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to work in our Inpatient Services for people with Intellectual (Learning) Disabilities and Autism. There are six specialist services on the Brooklands Hospital site, providing inpatient assessment and treatment services to adults (men and women) and young people with an Intellectual Disability. This includes both secure and non-secure services. </p> <p>Your role will be to provide support to the qualified Clinical team in delivering a high quality psychology service within some of the inpatient services, working in a multi-disciplinary team and engaging with young people and adults with complex needs and who can display a range of behavioural challenge. These are busy professional roles in which energy, initiative and reflective practice are vital.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder would be joining a dynamic team with a range of clinical interests and expertise in a variety of therapeutic models including DBT, Compassion Focussed, EMDR and Narrative approaches.</p> <p>Positive Behavioural Support is a major part of our treatment philosophy and the service ethos is to ensure that effective, evidence based interventions are provided to people who can present considerable risk, to ensure that they can return to a less restrictive environment in the community as soon as possible.</p> <p>All members of the team receive excellent support, good quality supervision and opportunities for continuing professional development. There are good links with psychological services staff across the Trust, developing Special Interest Groups across speciality and an annual conference. The Psychological services team also has strong links with local clinical and forensic training courses, and regularly provides placements for trainee clinical and forensic psychologists, supervision for DClinPsy and DForPsy research, and teaching on the courses.</p> <p>Candidates with experience of working within a range of clinical settings including CAMHS, Forensic, Mental Health, Social Care and Learning Disabilities are welcomed.
