  <p>Cancer Psychological Therapies are excited to recruit a psychological professional with a strong interest in working psychologically with people diagnosed with cancer to our small and friendly team. We are a busy service staffed by psychological professionals enthusiastic about and committed to providing high-quality and compassionate psychological care to patients diagnosed with cancer within Queens Hospital and King George Hospital. We welcome applicants new to working in oncology and are keen to support professional development in this field.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will be expected to manage an individual caseload of patients with cancer referred to the service, providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions, both for in-patients and out-patients. They will work closely with colleagues in Cancer Psychological Therapies to manage the waiting list, including offering triage assessments and patient workshops, and ensure risk assessment and management plans are up-to-date and adhered to. They will work collaboratively with colleagues in their team, as well as within the wider oncology services and Trusts as part of providing excellent holistic care for patients. They will be supported to develop working relationships other psychological professionals across Clinical Health Psychological Services and North-East London Cancer Alliance. They will need to be able to routinely travel to both Queens Hospital and King George Hospital. They will attend regular supervision and line management as part of their role.</p>

  <p>The pioneering and award-winning Family Safeguarding Service in Hertfordshire is seeking a part time (0.5) Band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Psychological Therapist (fixed term contract of one year to cover maternity leave) who is motivated to help change the lives of some of the most vulnerable families in Hertfordshire.   <p>The post-holder will have experience of working in CAMHS. You will be offering assessment and therapeutic treatment to young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families/carers, including generic CAMHS assessments as needed. You will be joining with our team's existing systemic psychotherapist and co-facilitating family therapy clinics and groups as appropriate (e.g. NVR and parent sessions), potentially also working alongside therapists from other local CAMHS teams. You will involve parent/carers, schools and other agencies as required. In addition, the post holder will offer consultations. You will require a high degree of professional autonomy, organization, and self management, with the ability to work well in a team. You will be supported by regular specialist clinical and management supervision sessions, access to a variety of internal CPD sessions, and annual performance appraisals. You will also participate in weekly clinical discussions with the teams, monthly complex case discussions and a monthly reflective space. There are opportunities to take part in discipline-specific meetings within Bedfordshire CAMHS and ELFT.</p>

We're seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to develop the speech and language therapy provision with the adult acute mental health inpatient wards.   <p>As part of the ward based team you will provide expert clinical guidance, especially for people with highly complex needs and those requiring specialist Speech and Language therapy assessments and interventions. You will be supported by the rest of the MDT, especially by the Occupational Therapists within the ward. The post holder will offer the core Speech and Language therapy assessments and interventions, as well as proving advice for the MDT on SLT treatment plans and outcomes of assessments. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of transforming our in-patient services across the Trust using person centred, recovery based, trauma informed care to provide the least restrictive interventions.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p><strong>We currently have 2 full-time and 1 part-time Clinical Psychologist/ CBT Therapist/ Senior Mental Health Clinician Band 7 vacancies in MHST - 1x Full Time (37.5 hours a week) based at Unither House Chertsey, 1x Full-time based at either Unither House, Chertsey or Trust HQ, Leatherhead, 1 x part time ( 30 hours a week) based at Unither House Chertsey.</strong></p> <p>We invite you to consider being involved in this exciting opportunity to help to deliver the governments vision and commitment to develop integrated mental health teams in schools.</p> <p>Building on existing 'whole school approaches' to mental health and wellbeing, Surrey is developing new MHSTs to work with selected primary and secondary schools to increase access to mental health interventions for children and young people up to the age of 18 years.</p> <p>Our MHSTs have 3 core functions; supporting families and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties by delivering evidence-based interventions in schools; providing timely advice and consultation to schools, and supporting schools to deliver whole school approaches to mental health and wellbeing. Each MHST is co-located in schools, operating from the four main geographical hubs, with services delivered across the cluster of schools for each area.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Senior Clinician you will be mentoring and/or supervising the development of EMHPs in your team, building a culture of high-quality clinical practice. You will grow and nurture trainees and newly qualified EMHPs, utilising your experience and skills to ensure they develop into well rounded clinicians.</p>
<p>You will take the lead in building relationships with senior leaders in schools, providing regular case consultation, support and advice, and being a 'link' to the wider children's mental health services. Together with the Clinical Lead and educational psychologists, you will develop programmes of work to support schools with their whole school approach goals, enabling more sustainable, holistic change. Finally, you will hold a small caseload, delivering direct interventions to CYP and families.</p>
<p>We are looking to build a multi-disciplinary team whose strength comes from the variety of skills and experience brought by each team member. Thus, we welcome applications from candidates from range of professional backgrounds including, but not exclusively, CBT Therapy, Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapists, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapists, Child Psychotherapy and Mental Health Nurses.</p>
