The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard cost-effective pre and post bereavement counselling without direct supervision both within the community and hospital settings. This will be based upon evidence-based practice in line with the legal requirements, statutory and Health Board policies relating to practice.</p> <p>Part time vacancies available ;-</p> <p>2 x 15 hour post and 1 x 7.5 hour post</p> <p>Ensure clients receive a safe, individualised and effective service by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care.</p> <p>You will communicate effectively at all times and in conjunction with other team members contributing to developing and maintaining the service philosophy for both adults and children working within the hospital environment.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Participate in the maintenance and development of high quality support and care to clients within the Hywel Dda University Health Board area. Research evidence, best practice and expert clinical judgement will underpin this service.</p>
<p>Have supported responsibility for managing a defined caseload without direct supervision. The post-holder will assess, monitor and co-ordinate an individualised, therapeutic programme of care in partnership with clients appropriate to need, context and culture. The aim of this is to empower and promote health. This will be performed utilising recognised assessment tools as well as clinical judgement and an identified model of health promotion.</p>

  <p>We are pleased to be recruiting for a Clinical /Counselling Psychologist for a Band 7, 12 month Fixed Term post in the Tower Hamlets Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).</p> <p>PTS is a friendly and supportive team, highly committed to providing effective treatments to adults with complex difficulties, including depression, anxiety and trauma.   <p>St Richards Hospice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, skilled and compassionate Counsellor to join a well-established and highly respected counselling team at St Richards Hospice, where you will combine clinical counselling with a leadership and supervisory role.</p><p>The St Richards Counselling Service sits within the Family Support Team and provides a specialist bereavement and pre-death counselling service to clients in South Worcestershire. The team also encompasses the Bereavement Support South Worcestershire Service, offering group support those dealing with a sudden or unexpected death.</p><p>Working within our Family Support Team, you will undertake comprehensive assessments and provide one-to-one counselling and therapeutic group work for people affected by life-limiting illness or bereavement. You will manage your own complex caseload while also recruiting, supporting and line managing our team of counselling students and volunteers.</p><p>Being a team player is essential to this role, as you will work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for our patients, their families and clients. You will also support the counselling allocation process and contribute to the delivery of education and training, both within the hospice and externally. You will also participate in the Family Support and Bereavement Referral Line rota.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will have a recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy, hold membership of BACP (or an equivalent professional body), and be accredited or working towards accreditation.</p><p>Experience of working with patients with an illness that cannot be cured, along with their families and carers, is essential to the role. Substantial knowledge of grief and loss, and a deep understanding of the emotional needs of bereaved people, is crucial.</p><p>You will have a supervision qualification and experience facilitating therapeutic groups, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to work confidently with a wide range of individuals and professionals.</p><p>It would be advantageous if you hold (or are willing to work towards) a leadership qualification and have previous experience in leadership or line management.</p><p>Due to the nature of this role, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.</p>

You will work closely with senior colleagues across our teams and localities on team and service development whilst providing psychological interventions to people with greatest complexity. </p> <p>We want you to feel supported within your role and we are keen see our psychologists flourish and develop with training in Family Interventions (BFT), CBT for Psychosis (CBTp) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for example. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting new part time permanent position has arisen within the Royal London Hospital NICU for an experienced psychotherapist.</p>
<p>The Unit consists of a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, surgeons, junior doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, health care support workers and other members of the wider hospital team. The psychotherapist plays an integral role in providing psychological support to all NICU &amp; NTS staff, parents and occasionally other members of the families who use our service.</p>
<p>The Royal London neonatal service comprises a Neonatal Intensive Care L3 Tertiary Unit with 45 beds, caring for over 700 babies every year. We receive admissions of sick and premature babies from our maternity Delivery Suite , as well as other hospitals within our network for specialist medical and surgical intensive care. We care for some of the sickest babies with significant morbidity and mortality and the psychotherapist plays an important role in supporting the parents and families of these infants.</p>
<p>The Hospital hosts the Neonatal Transfer Service which has close ties with the NICU and rotation of staff occurs.</p>
<p>The Royal London Hospital serves a diverse community and equally consists of a large multi-disciplinary team with different backgrounds. It is therefore important that the post holder can demonstrate an ability to work with people from all backgrounds. Language and cultural barriers may need to be overcome with creative and empathic communication.</p>
