  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This is a truly exciting time as we change what we do and how we deliver community mental health services. This newly integrated CMH team is developing a pathway for people with psychosis and an enhanced pathway for people with psychosis where meaningful engagement can be a challenge. You will work closely with senior colleagues across our teams and localities on team and service development whilst providing psychological interventions to people with greatest complexity. </p> <p>We want you to feel supported within your role and we are keen see our psychologists flourish and develop with training in Family Interventions (BFT), CBT for Psychosis (CBTp) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for example. We also have access to the Bespoke training platform and an excellent psychological skills development team.</p>

To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/team. To provide an evidence based psychological therapy service to people with an eating disorder. To utilise research skills for audit, policy, service development and research.</p><p>To propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the team / service and to cooperate in the delivery of psychological therapies with the aim of meeting national and local guidelines and targets.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 8a Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our multi disciplinary dynamic CAMHS service. Consideration will also be given too newly qualified child and adolescent Psychotherapist for whom this would be a development post moving to a Band 8a following 2 years post qualification.</p> <p>The role of the Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist is to ensure delivery and development of a high-quality specialist assessment and intervention underpinned by a psycho-analytical framework to compliment the range of psychological/therapeutic services within the multi-disciplinary service.</p> <p>We offer a specialist service to families and young people through face-to-face contacts or indirectly by liaising closely with statutory and voluntary organisations. The Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist will provide assessment, consultation, training, groups and individual interventions for parents/carers and infants, young children and their families and clinical supervision.</p> <p>Postholders will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users' and their carers and have a clear understanding of professional boundaries.   <p>Priory Hospital, Southampton are looking for an enthusiastic clinical or counselling psychologist to join the psychology team in delivering individual therapy, group therapies and assessments as part of delivering excellent standards of care for NHS service users requiring inpatient hospital admission.</p><p>This role could cater for someone seeking flexible working alongside another job role or other commitments as we are looking to recruit a psychologist for 15 hours per week in a part-time permanent role.</p><p>The individual therapy delivered at our hospital is exclusively with the service users on our specialist eating disorder ward, Skylark, therefore we are seeking a psychologist with an interest or previous experience in working with those suffering with an eating disorder.</p>  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will be welcomed into a passionate and positive team of professionals, headed by a Counselling Psychologist within the psychology team, and made up of a Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Creative Arts Therapist, and an Assistant Psychologist. This team isoverseen within the wider therapy services umbrella headed by therapy manager and Occupational Therapist, Sarah Marsh.</p><p>There will be opportunities for continuing professional development and your passion, style and ambitions would be taken into account as you grow within the role. Particular professional development would see the candidate gaining distinct experience in working with acute distress and eating disorders, allowing for the possibility of specialism.</p>
