  <p>We are pleased to be recruiting for a Clinical /Counselling Psychologist for a Band 7, 12 month Fixed Term post in the Tower Hamlets Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).</p> <p>PTS is a friendly and supportive team, highly committed to providing effective treatments to adults with complex difficulties, including depression, anxiety and trauma. We are looking for someone who can provide specialist assessments and individual and group interventions in line with their competencies. Experience of working in more than one modality including CBT, Psychodynamic, MBT, DBT, EMDR, CFT and the capacity to integrate models is welcome.</p> <p>Our service model aims to meet the needs of the local population through working closely with the locality neighbourhood teams, including the complex emotional needs and personality disorder services.</p> <p>The post holder will be working predominantly in person in the service, however, a small, remote working component may be accommodated.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide specialist assessments and interventions for clients referred to the psychological therapies service. The post holder will be expected to provide both individual therapy and co-facilitate group interventions, in line with their professional competencies. </p> <p>To work closely with the locality neighbourhood teams to further develop care pathways, the management of risk and facilitate the provision of psychological therapy and psychologically informed care to the local population we serve.</p> <p>To develop and support the psychosocial work of other staff through teaching, training, supervision and consultation. </p> <p>To provide specialist advice to NHS and voluntary sector agencies concerning the assessment, treatment and management of service users.</p> <p>Follow defined practices and procedures under the management and co-ordination of the Operational Lead. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice.</p> <p>Participate in CPD and other developmental activities, keeping up to date with relevant psychological research and national guidance (DoH, NICE etc).</p>

  <p>An exciting new part time permanent position has arisen within the Royal London Hospital NICU for an experienced psychotherapist.</p>
<p>The Unit consists of a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, surgeons, junior doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, health care support workers and other members of the wider hospital team. The psychotherapist plays an integral role in providing psychological support to all NICU &amp; NTS staff, parents and occasionally other members of the families who use our service.</p>
<p>The Royal London neonatal service comprises a Neonatal Intensive Care L3 Tertiary Unit with 45 beds, caring for over 700 babies every year. We receive admissions of sick and premature babies from our maternity Delivery Suite , as well as other hospitals within our network for specialist medical and surgical intensive care. We care for some of the sickest babies with significant morbidity and mortality and the psychotherapist plays an important role in supporting the parents and families of these infants.</p>
<p>The Hospital hosts the Neonatal Transfer Service which has close ties with the NICU and rotation of staff occurs.</p>
<p>The Royal London Hospital serves a diverse community and equally consists of a large multi-disciplinary team with different backgrounds. It is therefore important that the post holder can demonstrate an ability to work with people from all backgrounds. Language and cultural barriers may need to be overcome with creative and empathic communication.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This is a fantastic new opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapistwith a particular passion for work with the Under 5s to join a highly specialist Early Intervention Service for children, young people and their families in the Royal Borough of Greenwich .</p>
<p>The Early Intervention Team provides a thriving multi-disciplinary service offering a range of consultations, assessments &amp; therapeutic treatments in both the community and at the main Greenwich CAMHS clinic. The work will involve a rich mix of both psychotherapy treatments for struggling families of Under Fives and Under Fives consultations, to support organisations to firmly hold the emotional development of infants and children at the heart of their work. You will join a highly experienced Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist in the EIT team. </p>
<p>Although the post will be based in the Early Intervention Team there will be opportunities to work across the service to enrich professional development.</p>
<p>The Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapy team in Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is an established, active, diverse group that meets regularly, runs a journal club, holds an annual conference and welcomes innovatory ideas and collaborations.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>To provide efficient, effective, comprehensive and highly specialist child and adolescent psychoanalytical psychotherapy assessment and treatment for children/adolescents with severe, highly complex and persistent mental health problems, their carers/parents and families.</li>
<li>To provide highly specialist supervision and consultation for multi-disciplinary within the Greenwich CAMHS and to staff of related agencies (health, education, Social Care, voluntary sector, and youth criminal justice system.)</li>
<li>To undertake clinical audit, research and evaluation and to contribute to the development of child psychotherapy as required.</li>
<li>To work autonomously within the overall framework of CAMHS and trust policies and procedures.</li>
<li>To participate in monthly Child Psychotherapy Directorate meetings, termly seminars and the annual conference.</li>
