  <p>Priory Hospital, Southampton are looking for an enthusiastic clinical or counselling psychologist to join the psychology team in delivering individual therapy, group therapies and assessments as part of delivering excellent standards of care for NHS service users requiring inpatient hospital admission.</p><p>This role could cater for someone seeking flexible working alongside another job role or other commitments as we are looking to recruit a psychologist for 15 hours per week in a part-time permanent role.</p><p>The individual therapy delivered at our hospital is exclusively with the service users on our specialist eating disorder ward, Skylark, therefore we are seeking a psychologist with an interest or previous experience in working with those suffering with an eating disorder.</p>  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will be welcomed into a passionate and positive team of professionals, headed by a Counselling Psychologist within the psychology team, and made up of a Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Creative Arts Therapist, and an Assistant Psychologist. This team isoverseen within the wider therapy services umbrella headed by therapy manager and Occupational Therapist, Sarah Marsh.</p><p>There will be opportunities for continuing professional development and your passion, style and ambitions would be taken into account as you grow within the role. Particular professional development would see the candidate gaining distinct experience in working with acute distress and eating disorders, allowing for the possibility of specialism.</p>

Remote ADHD Psychologist

<p><strong>Please note this role may appear with a location in the advert which is our head office.   <p>This role is crucial in ensuring that patients get timely access to high quality specialist psychological treatments within the Oxfordshire Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team. As part of the role, you will:</p> <ul>  <li>Provide psychological assessment and intervention for adults with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties presenting in the perinatal period and their families in outpatient, community and inpatient settings as required. This may include the use of digital technology.</li>  <li>Supervise and support the psychological assessment and interventions provided by assistant and trainee psychologists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment, dependent on experience.</li>  <li>Provide ad hoc advice, consultation and supervision on clients' psychological care to colleagues and other professionals as delegated by the Principal Clinical Psychologist.</li>  <li>Work towards the standards, duties and responsibilities expected of a band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, which, if achieved in line with developmental reviews, will lead to an opportunity for promotion to band 8a.</li> </ul> <p>You will excel at working autonomously, managing a caseload and taking responsibility for the governance of your psychological practice within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Specialist Community Eating Disorders Service. The Community Eating Disorder Service is a welcoming and compassionate team, which has won the 2018 AWP Trust Service User's and Carer's Award. The service has recently undergone transformation and expansion as part of national and regional developments. These developments are providing excellent opportunities for career development, training, creativity, leadership and innovation for the right candidate!</p> <p>We are looking for someone with an interest in working with people living with eating disorders. People living with an eating disorder are often stigmatised and marginalised; we're therefore keen to find somebody with a keen sense of compassion and equality. You'll be closely supported by the MDT, and there will additionally be opportunities for specialist training.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. The Neighbourhood population are often a cohort of people who are often perceived as not suitable, too complicated for the current structures or fall though the gaps.</p> <p>We are values driven and use our values to guide our decision making.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will increase the levels of psychological support and care provided to people who access the service. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions/groups to people supported by the NMHT. You will also offer supervision, consultation, training and reflective practice groups to support all staff to work in a psychologically-informed way. As the NMHT is a developing and changing service, there will be ongoing opportunities for service development, audit and evaluation.</p> <p>There will be opportunity for the role to be developed by the successful candidate to fit the needs of the Wigan population. You will be supported by the team Principal Clinical Psychologist and NMHT Management team.
