  <p>We are pleased to offer this Associate Psychological Practitioner (APP)/Mental Health wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) post within specialist eating disorder services. The post is based at Harvey House, Lancaster and working from Kendal and Barrow which are the bases for the Bay Eating Disorder Team. The team is part of the All Age Eating Disorder Service which covers Lancashire and South Cumbria and has close links with our other locality teams based in the Bay (Lancaster and South Cumbria), Fylde Coast, East and West Lancashire providing multi-disciplinary specialist care for people who have an eating disorder. You will be joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a passion for working with people who have eating disorders including psychological therapists, systemic family therapist, specialist mental health nurses, specialist dietitian and medical professionals.</p>
<p>You will be joining the team at an exciting time of real development as the service works together to improve services for people who have an eating disorder. You will benefit from working with an enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive team who are committed to delivering high quality NICE compliant psychological therapies to people of all ages with an eating disorder. The post holder will receive regular supervision and professional support from either a psychologist or CBT therapist.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The service is committed to training and development of staff and you would be supported to access training in eating disorder specific CBT models, if required.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be expected to deliver low intensity CBT interventions mainly focused on the eating disorder. Interventions will be offered in both 1:1 and group formats.</p>
<p>Applications will be welcome from suitably qualified Associate Psychological Practitioners, who have completed the Postgraduate Diploma Associate Psychological Practitioner (PGDip APP) and Mental Health wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) additional training.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed clinician who has experience working with complex cases within the area of community mental health with individuals who struggle with complex trauma, severe mental health illness and / or personality disorder.</p><p>Applications are invited for qualified clinical associate psychologist looking to extend their clinical and team working knowledge and experience.</p><p>The postholder will use a range of evidence-based psychological models and protocols when addressing individualised patient need and critically appraise these models and interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT, CFT) to inform treatment planning and appropriate choice of treatment protocols and understand how to interpret treatment choices with individuals, groups and other healthcare colleagues, when managing complex and chronic needs.</p><p>The role offers exciting opportunities for direct clinical interventions and multi-disciplinary team working, implementing evidence-based programmes of group and individual psychological therapies as well as providing consultation and supervision to other team members. SFEDS works with young people aged 10-18 with an eating disorder and their families across Sussex, and supports recovery through evidenced based interventions such as the Maudsley Family Therapy models and E-CBT. Managing a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team setting, the post holder will provide a range of high-quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include full mental health assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and therapeutic interventions.</p>
<p>Within a systemic and holistic framework, you will undertake needs led, evidence based, highly skilled assessments and provide therapeutic interventions, ensuring this is done evidencing shared decision making and partnership working with children and young people, their families and carers.</p>
<p>You will provide advice, information, consultation and supervision within the service and externally within your specialist area.</p>
<p>As part of working together you will actively liaise with and support robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS team and community partners and other key stakeholders involved with the child across agencies that work within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health THRIVE framework.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. The Neighbourhood population are often a cohort of people who are often perceived as not suitable, too complicated for the current structures or fall though the gaps.</p> <p>We are values driven and use our values to guide our decision making.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will increase the levels of psychological support and care provided to people who access the service. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions/groups to people supported by the NMHT. You will also offer supervision, consultation, training and reflective practice groups to support all staff to work in a psychologically-informed way. As the NMHT is a developing and changing service, there will be ongoing opportunities for service development, audit and evaluation.</p> <p>There will be opportunity for the role to be developed by the successful candidate to fit the needs of the Wigan population. You will be supported by the team Principal Clinical Psychologist and NMHT Management team.
