You will also hold a small caseload and provide Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies to clients accessing our services through our vibrant Adult Psychological Therapies team at Onebright. Our streamlined systems, with risk escalation, means you can focus on what you do best: helping people get better.</p><p>In this role you will also hold a small caseload and be working with adults accessing our services providing a specific number of client contacts per week.   <p>The community transformation programme in Leeds is inviting applications for a full time, permanent, Clinical Associate Psychologist. Community mental health services have recently undergone transformation to support the national priority of increasing access to psychologically informed care and reducing inequality.</p> <p>We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist with a can-do attitude, to become part of the therapy team in Working Age Adult Community Services with opportunities to work across Primary, Secondary &amp; Specialist services. The role will be varied with a strong emphasis on group work models including DBT, CBT &amp; CFT. Previous knowledge of and or experience of facilitating groups will be an advantage.   <p>This is an exciting time to join us in making a real change for children and young people across our area, as we are looking for a <strong>Children and Young People's Well-Being Practitioner</strong> to work in our team of experienced clinical psychologists, specialist epilepsy nurses and consultant paediatricians based at York Hospital. </p> <p>We are delighted to be chosen as a national pilot site for integrating mental health support into children and young people's epilepsy care.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Your role will be to deliver an innovative, manualised CBT-based intervention, to children and young people who have been screened by their team and shown to require psychological support. This intervention, MICE (Mental Health Intervention for Children with Epilepsy), is designed to improve the treatment of mental health problems in young people with epilepsy and has been shown to be effective in a large-scale research project. </p> <p>It can be delivered by telephone, video conferencing or face to face, and training will be provided. You will be using evidence-based interventions with supervision from the senior clinical psychologist. This will include a range of therapeutic self-management interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate psychological problems, as well as the administration and teaching of psycho-educational classes to groups of parents and children and young people.</p> <p><strong>Team &amp; Support</strong></p> <ul>  <li><strong>York Hospital Paediatric Psychology Service</strong>, part of a larger<strong>Department of Psychological Medicine</strong>.</li>  <li>Supervision and collaboration with experienced psychologists including:   <ul>    <li><strong>Dr Emma Peakman</strong>- Consultant Clinical Psychologist</li>    <li><strong>Dr Anya Knight</strong> - Senior Clinical Psychologist</li>   </ul> </li> </ul> <p>You will be joining a dedicated paediatric psychology team and have opportunities to continue to learn and develop. </p>

<p>Job Title: Psychologist (ADOS-2) - Harrogate</p><p>Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire (Hybrid 1-2 days per week)</p><p>Role: Permanent </p><p> Salary: £55,000 - £110,000 per annum (depending on experience)</p><p>Hours: Full Time (Part Time Available)</p><p>Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland. </p><p>They provide high-quality services to clients across the UK and Ireland, including neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children as well as expert witness assessments for the courts and parole boards, assessments in criminal/prison law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record of providing high quality assessments and delivering on HSE / NHS contracts.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p> This is an exciting and valuable role within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families and adults. This is a hybrid role for suitably qualified clinicians working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for children referred for autism and/ or ADHD assessments via HSE / NHS Patient choice and their GP. </p><p>Some aspects of the role may be undertaken remotely, but you must still be able to visit the office 1-2 times per week. </p><p>The role requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/ or ADHD using established diagnostic tools. Assessments of mental health conditions may also be required. Assessments are undertaken on behalf of the HSE / NHS via GP referral.</p><p>The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions. Additionally, the clinician may be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist</li><li>Must be eligible to work in the UK. </li><li>Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/ specialist developmental assessments with children and young people</li><li>Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting</li><li>Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD</li><li>Knowledge of differential diagnosis</li><li>Ideally ADOS-2 / ADI-R trained</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team</li><li>Experience in report writing and record keeping</li><li>Additional qualifications in relevant areas of autism and / or ADHD</li></ul>
