  <p>The successful applicant will be joining the service during an exciting period of service development and transformation. They will receive clinical supervision from a senior Psychologist (with BABCP Accreditation if required) and will work closely with AEDS psychological therapies team.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing or contributing to the clinical supervision of Trainee Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists; this is, with support and, where applicable, training to assist in the development of these supervision skills.</p> <p>The post holder will be expected to carry out comprehensive assessments and formulations and plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of their psychological interventions (individual and group). The ATS is a friendly, well regarded multidisciplinary team that delivers specialist support and clinical interventions to adults with severe and complex mental health difficulties. This post provides an exciting opportunity for someone with sound clinical experience, looking to develop and broaden their specialist therapy skills and progress their multidisciplinary team working, supervision, training and leadership roles. The post will offer the opportunity for developing skills in partnership working as we move towards developing our Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams and increase access to psychologically informed interventions as part of community transformation and PT-SMHP developments.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will provide a high quality, specialist applied psychology service to clients, their families or carers, where there are complex and comorbid presentations. They will have assessment, intervention and formulation skills in a range of psychological models, including CBT and attachment-based models. The post holder will be expected to take a clinical leadership roleand to have supervisory experience. They will be responsible for the supervision of Assistant Psychologists, Clinical Trainees and Psychology Graduate Volunteers and will support psychological practice within the wider team through consultation, supervision, formulation and training. They will utilise research skills for audit and research within the area and contribute to service improvement and development.</p> <p>There will be opportunities to lead on pathway developments as part of the transformation developing the psychological offer and supporting the MDT in psychological thinking. As such we would welcome applicants from anyone with specific interest in psychosis, trauma, emotional intensity or particular therapy approach such as CBT, Family work, CAT or EMDR.</p>

  <p>Psychologists are valued members of the ATS and are encouraged to play a key role in multidisciplinary team working. You would be joining a supportive and cohesive network of Psychologists, clinical trainees and psychology volunteers. You will work closely withPsychology colleagues and the Psychology leads. You will receive high standards of supervision and will be supported by the Principal Clinical Psychologist. We have a valued programme of CPD, peer supervision and reflective practice for Psychology staff.</p> <p>Applications are welcome from enthusiastic and experienced psychologists with specialist knowledge and skills of working with severe and enduring mental health difficulties such as complex trauma, psychosis and personality difficulties.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 8a Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our multi disciplinary dynamic CAMHS service.   <p>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic psychologist to join two innovative services in Swindon: the Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service (PC CEN) and the Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills, contribute to service development, and deliver impactful psychological care within a forward-thinking and supportive environment.</p> <p>The role is designed to span both services, though we would consider applicants who are interested in applying for either part of the role.PC CEN provides brief psychological support for individuals experiencing emotional and relational difficulties, often associated with personality disorder. With new investment, the service is expanding to include support for people with complex PTSD who may not meet criteria for secondary mental health services. This is an exciting time to join a growing team and help shape the future direction of the service.</p> <p>PCLS provides mental health triage, assessment, brief interventions, advice, and signposting for diverse mental health issues.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role is currently structured as three days per week in PC CEN and two days per week in PCLS. However, we would consider applicants who are interested in applying for either part of the role.</p>
<p>As PC CEN Psychologist, you will lead the locality team as the service expands, overseeing therapists and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs) to deliver safe, evidence-based interventions for clients with complex emotional needs and complex PTSD. You will also provide these interventions to a small caseload of service users.</p>
<p>As PCLS Psychologist, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, formulation, brief interventions, and signposting for a wide range of mental health presentations. This part of the role is linked to the Swindon Psychological Therapies Service (PTS), which includes a trainee Clinical Associate Psychologist (CAP) and is actively developing its psychological offer.</p>
