  <p>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic psychologist to work across two innovative services in Wiltshire. This role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills by supporting a growing brief psychological intervention service as well as working within a busy MDT providing assessment, formulation, and brief interventions for a wide range of mental health needs.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service</strong> (PC CEN) delivers brief psychological support for individuals with emotional and relational difficulties, associated with personality disorder.With additional investment the service will expand to also offer intervention to people with complex PTSD who may fall between the gap between primary and secondary MH services.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS) </strong>provides mental health triage, assessment, brief interventions, advice, and signposting for diverse mental health issues.</p>

  <p>This role operates across both the PC CEN Service and the Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS), covering South Wiltshire. While your formal line management will sit within the PC CEN Service, you will also maintain close links with the Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).</p>
<p>As the PC CEN Psychologist, you will lead the locality team through a period of service expansion. You will be responsible for supervising therapists and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs), ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex emotional needs and complex PTSD.</p>
<p>In your role within PCLS, you will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide psychological assessments, formulations, brief interventions, and appropriate signposting for a broad spectrum of mental health presentations.</p>

  <p>We are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team in South Warwickshire. You will join a friendly and supportive group of psychologists in the locality and there will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills through CPD. The trust has an enviable care pathways system which values Psychology, Psychotherapy and the Arts Psychotherapies. There are opportunities to train in DBT, CBT for psychosis, family interventions, CBT for personality disorders and structured clinical management.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Variety:</strong> You will have the chance to work with a wide range of complex presentations including affective disorders, psychosis, and personality, and using a variety of methods and approaches. With assessments, individual therapies, group therapies, family interventions, MDT working, complex case meetings, indirect interventions using a Positive Behaviour Support framework, and supervision all part of the role, it's safe to say that no two days will feel the same! Many of our Psychologists in acute services find that the switching really helps to stay energised.</p>
<p><strong>Fast-paced:</strong> You will get to be reflexive; formulating problems, identifying with teams when attempted solutions create a new or different problem, and supporting teams to remove barriers to discharge and supporting people to have an independent and personally meaningful life outside of hospital. <p><strong>Autonomy:</strong> Acute Inpatient Psychologists can personalise and tailor the role of Psychology for their wards.</p>

  <p>The post holder will provide face-to-face evidence based psychological therapy in an AWP/ NHS site or other community setting in the Wiltshire and Dorset area.
