  <p>Priory Hospital, Southampton are looking for an enthusiastic clinical or counselling psychologist to join the psychology team in delivering individual therapy, group therapies and assessments as part of delivering excellent standards of care for NHS service users requiring inpatient hospital admission.</p><p>This role could cater for someone seeking flexible working alongside another job role or other commitments as we are looking to recruit a psychologist for 15 hours per week in a part-time permanent role.</p><p>The individual therapy delivered at our hospital is exclusively with the service users on our specialist eating disorder ward, Skylark, therefore we are seeking a psychologist with an interest or previous experience in working with those suffering with an eating disorder.</p>  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will be welcomed into a passionate and positive team of professionals, headed by a Counselling Psychologist within the psychology team, and made up of a Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Creative Arts Therapist, and an Assistant Psychologist. This team isoverseen within the wider therapy services umbrella headed by therapy manager and Occupational Therapist, Sarah Marsh.</p><p>There will be opportunities for continuing professional development and your passion, style and ambitions would be taken into account as you grow within the role. Particular professional development would see the candidate gaining distinct experience in working with acute distress and eating disorders, allowing for the possibility of specialism.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable senior DBT therapist or clinical / counselling psychologist trained in DBT, with a particular interest in family therapy work.</p> <p>CASCADE is an all-ages (14+)DBT service, delivering comprehensive, adapted and DBT-informed therapies, to treat core difficulties associated with severe emotional dysregulation, complex PTSD and otherco-occurring presentations related to an Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. </p> <p>Essential criteria for this post include being trained in DBT, leadership skills, experience of supervising others, and a flexible working approach. The postholder will be expected to work collaboratively, possess excellent planning and organisational skills, contribute towards and support the delivery of service development initiatives, and demonstrate autonomous professional responsibility for all aspects of their work. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will join a growing team of new and experienced DBT therapists delivering comprehensive DBT, adapted DBT models such as DBT-PE, DBT for cPTSD, RO-DBT and other DBT-informed interventions.You will work across both the CYP and Adult DBT programmes providing individual therapy, skills training groups and telephone coaching. Additionally, you will offer specialist psychological assessments and formulations, as well as provide consultation and advice to staff teams on DBT and behavioural principles to shape environments to support clients' adaptive behaviours. As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring the inclusion of family and carers throughout, and for the planning and implementation of direct family work where appropriate. An interest in or experience of family therapy or delivering DBT-informed interventions and psychoeducational groups to family and carers will be desirable. </p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>To be responsible for the systematic provision of a range of evidence-basedpsychological interventions to working age adults with severe and enduring mentalhealth difficulties referred by the Community Mental Health teams within thelocality.</li>
<li>To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect(consultative, advisory and evaluative) specialist psychology interventions withinthe service and taking substantial professional responsibility and exercisingautonomous judgement in their professional practice.</li>
<li>To ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning byundertaking research and development relevant to the service area.</li>
<li>To be regularly responsible for providing and contributing to training placements for trainee clinical/counselling psychologists and for providing professional support and line-management to basic/senior psychologists in this specialism</li>
