Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) - HMP Humber Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum (AFC Band 5) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Location: HMP Humber&nbsp;About the Role We’re seeking a qualified and accredited Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our integrated primary care mental health team at HMP Humber.&nbsp;As a PWP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, low-intensity cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, aligning with Step 2 IAPT guidelines.Key Responsibilities<ul>	<li>Conduct person-centred assessments, manage referrals, and support individuals in their self-management and recovery journeys.</li>	<li>Deliver guided self-help in both 1:1 and group settings, drawing from CBT principles.</li>	<li>Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, attending meetings, and contributing to step-up and step-down arrangements.</li>	<li>Ensure accurate data entry and maintain high standards in clinical record-keeping and confidentiality.</li>	<li>Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, upholding Rethink Mental Illness values.</li></ul>About You<ul>	<li>Qualifications: Completed the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and hold a PWP accreditation (BPS or BABCP).</li>	<li>Experience: Demonstrated experience providing low-intensity, evidence-based interventions in a stepped-care environment.</li>	<li>Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.</li></ul>Experience in a prison setting or with offender populations is beneficial, though not essential.Benefits In addition to a rewarding career supporting those affected by mental illness, you’ll enjoy opportunities for professional development, a supportive team environment, and structured supervision.Join us in making a meaningful difference.
