  <p>Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has acquired funding to expand its current provision for Eating Disorders Services across Gwent. The additional funding will enable the Specialist Eating Disorders Service to offer early intervention and treatment to those adults presenting with an eating disorders and young people transitioning from CAMHS. As part of this exciting development an opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Practitioner to join the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Specialist Eating Disorders Service.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone with an interest in eating disorders and passion for service improvement to join our multidisciplinary team. The Specialist Eating disorder team members will support the successful candidate in their work with service users. </p>
<p>The Specialist Eating Disorders Service aims to ensure that service provision for eating disorders is high quality, innovative, and equitably delivered across Gwent, with a focus on early detection and intervention, inclusivity, person centred, relationship based, recovery focused and trauma informed.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Specialist Eating Disorders Service are looking to recruit a skilled practitioner who will work collaboratively with them to develop and deliver individual, group and family treatment programmes that address the complex physical, psychological and psychosocial needs of clients and their families/carers.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will provide specialist eating disorder assessments and interventions to clients and their families, education and training to colleagues within the health board and support and supervision to colleagues within the service. Experience of working with people with eating disorders would be desirable.</p>
<p>The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.</p>

<p>Are you an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist looking for a&nbsp;full time opportunity&nbsp;to be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Eating Disorder inpatient treatment for women?</p>
<p>Join Ty Glyn Ebbw, in Ebbw Vale, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for Women. You will be working as part of a wide MDT providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual.</p>
<p>You will have experience in General Adult settings and have experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.&nbsp; You will also have experience of working within acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings and have experience in risk assessment and risk management.</p>

<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>

    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>

I have recently relocated to Porthcawl and need support from my Team Leader, Rehabilitation Workers and parents to live independently in my own property.</p> <p>I use a wheelchair and together with my physiotherapist, I m working on my strength to assist my mobility further. I m a very determined lady and am looking for likeminded people to aid my rehabilitation further. I enjoy the company of others, have a good sense of humour, enjoy going out into the community, visiting the cinema and going shopping. Most importantly, you will support me with cooking, managing my house and exploring sports/rehab/activities in the area.</p> <p>I have some physical difficulties and currently receive input from an occupational therapist, neuropsychologist and a physiotherapist. I can communicate verbally providing you give me the time I need to express myself. I would like my rehab workers to be warm, patient and reliable, to encourage and support me to access all opportunities along with completing therapy tasks as prescribed by my therapist team, thus, helping me to maximise my quality of life.</p> <p>You will play a key part in helping to develop my day-to-day activities. There may be occasions where you need to work at short notice to cover sickness absence or annual leave of other workers. You may also need to support me to have short breaks and holidays. This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.
