The Mental Health Support Worker will have previous experience, it is not a requirement as full bespoke accredited training will be provided. The Mental Health Support Worker will be working with a team of experienced secure transport team, helping move patients to their hospital locations OBJECTIVES OF ROLE Transferring service users to various hospital locations To provide support to service users with individual needs during hospital transfers To work as part of a dedicated team to ensure high-quality standards are met To maintain the safety and well-being of service users, colleagues inside the secure tansport CRITERIA <ul> <li>PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression)</li> <li>MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression training)</li> <li>MAV ( Managing Aggresssion &amp; violence)</li> <li> 6 Months experience working in a similar support setting</li> <li> Experience in mental health support work desirable</li> <li>Enhanced DBS and updated Service</li> <li>Overseas police check if you have been in the country for less than 5 years</li> <li>Driver's Licence (Not essential)</li> </ul>

Are you an experienced manager with a passion for criminal justice rehabilitation?We are looking for a Family Support and Wellbeing Manager to lead a dedicated team of 5 Advisors.This is a specialist role working for a leading criminal justice rehabilitation charity, providing personal wellbeing services to help ex-offenders develop resilience, manage emotions, and reintegrate into society.You will mainly be based in West Yorkshire (Leeds and Bradford Hubs HQ). But you will be expected to travel between Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Dewsbury and across Humberside (Scunthorpe, Hull, Beverley, Bridlington and Grimsby) for meetings and support.Please note: this is a 1 year maternity cover (subject to extension)You must be a driver for this role.What You'll Do:<ul><li>Staff Management &amp; Development - Train, coach, and support Advisors (2 in Humberside and 3 within West Yorkshire).</li><li>Case Management - Hold a caseload of 10 service users (split: 2 days casework, 3 days management).</li><li>Operational Oversight - Ensure service targets, logistics, risk assessments, and KPIs are met.</li><li>Community Outreach - Engage with probation services and external agencies across West Yorkshire &amp; Humberside.</li><li>Managerial Reporting - Complete 1-to-1s, site inspections, and oversee service performance.</li></ul>What We're Looking For:<ul><li>Management experience - ability to lead, support, and develop a team.</li><li>Background in criminal justice, probation, mental health, supported housing, employability/skills sector would be ideal.</li><li>Strong ability to assess risk, manage safeguarding, and handle referrals.</li><li>Driver essential - travel required across multiple locations.</li></ul>Please apply via this advert-we aim to respond to all applications.
