We are looking for a full time Associate Specialist doctor (non-consultant grade) to work in our Medium (MSU) and Low secure (LSU) Forensic Mental Health Services.
Farmfield Hospital is a purpose-built secure hospital which comprises of four MSU ward and two LSU wards for male service users. The hospital is centrally located with excellent transport links to London and Brighton.
Applications are invited for an experienced full-time Associate Specialist doctor to provide medical support to the consultant, and to function as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team. Secretarial support is provided.&nbsp;
The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to build effective relationships with service users, colleagues and other professionals. Good IT skills are essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

 <li>Assessment of service users and formulating appropriate management plans within your level of expertise</li>
 <li>Ensuring an adequate handover to colleagues including out of hours.</li>
 <li>Ensuring that each patient has a full physical health screen upon admission including physical examination, ECG and bloods</li>

 <li>Completing discharge letters and reports as required in a timely manner.</li>
 <li>Preparing First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearing reports under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist.</li>
 <li>Depending on your experience, providing oral evidence at First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings under the supervision of the Consultant.</li>
 <li>Chairing ward round and CPA meetings in the absence of the Consultant</li>
 <li>Contributing to the service development by participating in Clinical Governance activities by conducting audits, research and teaching.</li>
 <li>Work effectively with colleagues to ensure that patients have access to appropriate medical cover at all times.</li>
 <li>Providing prospective cover to other AS doctors when they are on leave.</li>
 <li>There is no on call requirement for this role.</li>

			Are you an experienced&nbsp;CYPMHS Eating Disorder Consultant Psychiatrist looking an opportunity&nbsp;where you will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders?&nbsp;
Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, which is a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.
You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Young People Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CYPMHS Eating Disorders and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist Location: Based in Croydon. Unfortunately this service does not have step free access. Salary: £60,000 (Full Time Equivalent) Equivalent 8A NHS Banding Shift Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working between 09:00 - 17:00, although some flexibility may be required at times with service needs. About the Role We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon. The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis. In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.
