HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist / Expert Witness Zero hours contract available Locations across the South Coast of England As a Clinical Psychologist you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments and producing high-quality medico-legal reports for Personal Injury legal cases. The role involves assessing clients based on a pre-defined Pro-Forma and preparing detailed reports for legal proceedings. You will be expected to work independently while collaborating with the wider team who will assist in the report writing process. This role requires travel into a clinic which will be booked by the company nearby. We have access to 250 locations across England &amp; Wales. Remote work will also be available after an initial period. Responsibilities Medico-Legal Assessments <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of clients involved in legal cases (predominantly Personal Injury cases) using evidence-based methods.</li> <li>Utilise a range of psychometric tools and clinical interview techniques to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects relevant to each case.</li> <li>Ensure all assessments are tailored to the specific legal context, addressing the needs of solicitors, barristers, and courts.</li> </ul> Report Writing <ul> <li>Completing a Pro-forma which will be returned to Medical Secretaries who will prepare the report and return for validation.</li> </ul> Note: the report will be drafted by the Administrative/Clerical Staff. All experts are expected to review Medical records within the assessment cost, each assessment is around 1 hour and a proforma template is already provided for you, so there really is very little admin - as your reports will be written up by your medical secretary, you simply need to validate. Qualifications and Skills Required: <ul> <li>Minimum 1 year of hands on experience.</li> <li>Registered under: Clinical psychologist</li> <li>1 full year, on the HCPC registration.</li> <li>Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools.</li> </ul> Essential documentation: <ul> <li>Registered as a Clinical Psychologist on the HCPC.</li> <li>Right to work in the UK.</li> <li>Full DBS or on the update service.</li> <li>ICO certified under GDPR legalities.</li> <li>Indemnity Insurance - referencing medico-legal with a minimum cover of 5 million.</li> <li>Proof of qualifications gained.</li> <li>To be prepared to set up sole trader status. </li> </ul> Please note if you are registered as a Forensic Psychologist only, we can not accept applications of this nature at present.
