More recently, I have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Due to a recent change in my mobility, there will be a strong focus on my physical rehabilitation. At times, I experience high levels of anxiety and periods of low mood, which can sometimes lead to feelings of irritability and frustration. Because of this, I'm looking for a support worker who is patient and understanding. I enjoy watching sport, particularly boxing which I follow closely and appreciate someone who can respect my interests and engage with me.I am looking for a support worker who is calm, motivated and open-minded, to support and encourage me in my rehab goals. I would require support with day-to-day household tasks, along with managing medical appointments as and when needed. I would like my support worker to encourage me and actively engage in community activities which will improve my confidence and increase my independence.This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.
