  <p>The Crisis Resolution Home
Treatment Team is a pivotal service whose main focus is to offer an alternative
to an inpatient admission and provide intensive treatment as required within
the community. The service will also ensure effective gatekeeping of all
service users referred to the service for admission to Hospital. The service
will operate on an outreach basis with the majority of assessments taking place
in non-Hospital
environments.</p><p>

The post holder will be an active member of the
integrated multi-disciplinary team (MDT),
providing a 24-hour community-based Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment
Service as an alternative to hospital admission. The post holder will provide
rapid
assessment and help plan and deliver effective, evidence-based home treatment
in
collaboration with service users, carers and professionals from other,
established

<p>Pinhoe View is a 36 bedded inpatient service which includes another full time Consultant Psychiatrist and two full-time associate specialists. In this role,you will have the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team (Nursing,OT, Psychology and Social Work) to provide care and treatment for up to 16 patients supported by an Associate Specialist doctor.</p>
<p>As a Consultant Psychiatrist some of your key responsibilities will include management of complex cases, formulating care plans and treatments for individual needs of service users, and guiding on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.</p>

			<p>Are you an experienced Psychologist looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference and changes lives for the better?&nbsp; You will be working 22.5 hours per week as a Part-time Clinical Psychologist at Pinhoe View, a 36 bed Acute Inpatient Hospital in Exeter and enjoy support from a regional network of healthcare professionals.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will be leading the psychology department and working alongside members of the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT), to offer patient-centred care, implementing daily, meaningful activities which can support recovery.</p>
<p>This entails competently assessing unwell service users, including completing assessments, planning and implementing person-centred interventions and the ongoing evaluation of their care and treatment.</p>
<p>You will be required to oversee the provision of the psychology service, as well as supporting the team in facilitating assessment and formulation interventions and psychology groups in collaboration with the team.</p>

<p><strong>As a Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
    <li>Participating in the assessment of referrals, and to provide initial assessment service users referred to the service.</li>
    <li>Undertaking high quality direct (assessment &amp; therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions.</li>
    <li>Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertake the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi structured clinical methods.</li>
    <li>Formulating and implementing plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients’ mental health needs based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence based best practise.</li>
    <li>Professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care.</li>
    <li>Maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance the HCPC Code of Conduct,&nbsp;professional guidelines&nbsp;and Company Policies and Procedures.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>&nbsp;To be successful in this role, you'll need:</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
    <li>To have BPS recognised psychology degrees</li>
    <li>HCPC registration</li>
    <li>Have understanding of evidence-based psychological practice</li>
    <li>Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to a&nbsp;clinical setting</li>
    <li>To have experience working with clients with cognitive deficits</li>
    <li>To have previous experience of conducting research and project working&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
