  <p>NSFT Secure Mental Health Services have been consistently rated "Good" by the CQC and are looking for a <strong>Registered Psychologist</strong>who will join us on our journey to "Outstanding". Our Community secure services form part of a wide and growing body of clinical services operating in a variety of settings linked to criminal justice services. NSFT Secure Services offer low and medium secure mental health services for men, an innovative integrated secure mental health service for women, mental health services in the local prisons, community forensic services, criminal justice liaison and diversion services and Offender Personality Disorder services in partnership with probation services.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist or suitably trained and experienced Counselling or Forensic Psychologist to join the multidisciplinary team providing services to individuals living in the community across Norfolk and Suffolk. </p> <p>We are looking for a psychologist who is committed to multidisciplinary working, has an interest in service development and who will support colleagues in developing their psychological knowledge and skills in addition to delivering a psychological assessment and treatment service to the users of the service.</p>

  <p>Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest providers of Talking Therapies services in the country. We are currently seeking cognitive behavioural therapists to join our recommissioned Norfolk and Waveney service, which provides evidence-based psychological therapies to people aged 16 and over.</p> <p>This is a particularly positive time to join us, following contract renewal, as the service moves to a data-led, Place-based model, taking provision closer to the local population that it serves while developing an already broad portfolio of clinical specialisms, including perinatal, trauma and long term conditions. <strong>We are looking to recruit to enhance our place based model across West, North and East Norfolk.</strong> Recent innovations have included the launch of a mobile service delivery vehicle and the production of a short film for new fathers.</p> <p>Norfolk and Waveney Talking Therapies is research active and is working closely with the University of East Anglia, a UK Top 25 university (Complete University Guide 2025) as both a provider of training for mental health professionals and a research partner as we build our portfolio of projects. We are also working with local acute healthcare providers to this end, embedding our therapeutic staff within wider systems of health. The service has excellent access to ongoing training and specialist supervision.</p>    <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be expected to hold a caseload of clients, working at the national standard for Talking Therapies, at Step 3 this is delivering 20 clinical contact hours per week, providing evidence-based assessment and treatment for people presenting with a range of commonly experienced disorders such as depression and anxiety.</p> <p>Working within a busy, high volume clinical environment is often challenging and therefore, all staff are expected to participate in regular clinical supervision to ensure the quality of delivery and maintain professional development and wellbeing.</p> <p>Our psychological therapies are delivered face to face, as well as online and by telephone, depending upon the needs of service users. Though hybrid working is part of the role, all staff are expected to attend team hubs and other delivery sites to see people as required, and to participate in a range of training and service activities.</p> <p>It is an expectation that staff will contribute to the ongoing programme of development and improvement, including clinical audit, service evaluation and personal performance appraisal.</p>

This will be a mixture of day and night shifts</p> <p>Our emergency call handlers are committed, enthusiastic individuals who care about people. They must have the ability to listen and respond, processing information quickly and accurately into the Computer Aided Dispatch system. Customer service skills are important and the ability to remain calm and supportive as some callers will be experiencing significant distress and trauma, including the loss of a loved one. Being able to remain focused on giving the right advice and support despite experiencing the emotions of others is a real skill and strong calm communication is required. </p> <p>All the training and mentoring you will need to undertake this role will be provided - no clinical experience is required; however, we do ask that you read the pre employment guidance which will support you when you commence training. Please be aware we are looking for Full Time staff only, the Training &amp; Mentoring period is fully paid &amp; hours are Full Time.</p> <p>All of the instructions and advice you will be giving to callers/patients is managed through a triage tool, it is intuitive and will present to you at the right time.</p> <p>No clinical experience is required, and although some call-centre experience would be an advantage, it is not essential.</p>
