  <p>We are looking to recruit a <strong>Counselling or Clinical Psychologist</strong> to join our Adult CMHT based in Kings Lynn Covering West Norfolk with the possibility for a small amount of home working. The psychology and psychological therapies team in the CMHT has an exciting and vibrant skill mix including Clinical Psychology, CBT therapists, CAT therapists, Art therapists, DBT therapists, and CAPS.</p> <p>The post holder would join this team and be responsible for providing assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. There would also be responsibilities in relation to providing supervision and service evaluation. There are opportunities for the post holder to support further therapy training to fit the needs of the service. In recent years this has included CBT, DBT, CAT, MDT and EMDR.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful applicant will hold their own caseload of clinical work. This will cover assessment, consultation formulation, individual and group therapy for service users accessing the CMHT. They will be supervised by the 8B Clinical Psychologist and will have their own supervisory responsibilities for others in the team.</p> <p>Psychology is well valued in the CMHT in West Norfolk and other duties will include working closely with the wider professions in the MDT. This successful applicant will have a job plan in line with BPS guidance which will incorporate time for CPD and learning as well as clinical duties.   <p><strong>This advert details an exciting career development opportunity for Clinical Psychologists or suitably trained and experienced Counselling Psychologists and Psychotherapists to join NSFT.</strong>As part of the NHS long-term plan Norfolk and Waveney have implemented a model of care and support based around integrated care and support delivered around primary care networks. This role is to link with the four primary care networks across the Great Yarmouth and Waveney locality and deliver psychological assessment, formulation and treatment to service users within the locality. The role will further require the successful applicant to provide consultation and supervision related to psychological approaches to staff working in the primary care network space. The successful applicant will work closely with both the adult CMHT and Talking Therapies in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post will be located within the Primary Care Network in Great Yarmouth, working across the Great Yarmouth and Waveney locality. The role will predominantly involve working with the primary care network in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.The post holder will hold a number of responsibilities including:o Providing a timely and considered evidence based psychologically informed response and treatment to clinically complex situation in primary care.o To provide clarity for service users on their difficulties and what might be most helpful for them.o To support the PCN-MHPs in their role with clinical issueso To initiate thinking from service users and clinicians about consistent treatment pathways for the person's difficultyo Develop links between the PCN and secondary MH care.o Attending meetings that are within scope of the in the interface psychology team such as initial assessment meetings, interface and triage.</p>
