  <p>The Durham &amp; Darlington NHS Talking Therapy Service is a joint venture involving TEWV, Mental Health Matters and Sunderland Counselling Service.</p> <p>The teams consist of High Intensity Therapists, PWPs and Counsellors as well as our Employment Team and the opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and dedicated High Intensity Worker to join our team to cover maternity leave on a 6 months fixed term contract</p> <p>Are you a qualified High Intensity Therapist (CBT) who wants to be valued and welcomed into a supportive, dynamic and expanding team? Are you passionate about delivering high intensity interventions in line with the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies initiative?</p> <p><strong>You will be an accred</strong><strong>ited CBT therapist and have completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, or recently qualified and be working towards accreditation in order to apply. Anyone without this qualification will not be considered for interview.</strong></p> <p>Our High Intensity Workers benefit from hybrid working, providing face-to-face sessions with patients whilst in base and remote sessions when working from home.   <p>As a High Intensity Therapist you will be working with clients who have a range of anxiety and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. You will hold a caseload for individual work (face-to-face and remotely delivered), amongst other duties. We welcome applicants who have experience of managing a caseload and who have experience of working within a NHS Talking Therapy Service.</p>
<p>You will be expected to be flexible and provide out of hours clinics as required by service need and demonstrate a willingness to travel. Durham and Darlington NHS Talking Therapy Service currently operates Monday- Friday covering some early morning/early evening working through 1:1 clinics which all staff are expected to offer.</p>

  <p>This vacancy is for a 12 month post covering maternity leave.</p> <p>A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual to join Durham Children and Young Peoples Service in-house therapeutic team - The Full Circle, based in Annfield Plain, County Durham.</p> <p>The Full Circle's focus is to support children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma due to experiences of neglect and abuse. The team works in close partnership with children looked after, children in need, residential, fostering and adoption services and has close links with partnership agencies including Education and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services within Durham.The post holder will have the opportunity to develop both their clinical and leadership skills and be an integral member of a strong leadership team. The Full Circle team is committed to providing a trauma informed approach and supporting wider children and young people services to understand and respond to children's trauma in the most helpful way.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post involves offering clinical support and guidance to the team which consists of therapeutic social workers, a clinical nurse specialist and an existing consultant clinical psychologist. It also includes consultation and training to social workers and other professionals working across CYPS along with support to foster carers, parents and residential services. The post involves working with children complex needs requiring collaboration and partnership working with a range of systems. Part of this role will be to support Durham County Council's growing residential services and working in innovative and creative ways to support the most complex young people in Durham's care.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Sunderland Talking Therapies to appoint a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. The position is for either a qualified PWP who holds a PWP accreditation or a Trainee PWP who is nearing the end of training due to be ratified, and wants to develop their skills and experience within our team. The post is full-time (37.5) however we are open to applications for part-time hours. <p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>

    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
    <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>
