<p>If you’re looking to progress your career and be part a new and exciting partnership venture between Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and Elysium Healthcare, while making a vital contribution to the lives of young people aged 13-18 with general mental health Tier 4 presentations including disordered eating.&nbsp; </p>
<p>As a CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist employed by Elysium Healthcare but seconded to SABP through the hybrid clinical and operational model, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will work alongside the talented and experienced multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment programmes to support the individual needs of each young person within a warm and nurturing environment. This will allow you to understand symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>

    <li>Reviewing referrals and determine appropriateness for admission</li>
    <li>Conducting admission assessments and maintain effective management plans of all young people on the unit</li>

  <p>SABP Mental Health Support Teams in Schools has an exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train Trainee CBT Therapist to join our team as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).</p> <p>The post-holder will attend a fully funded one year training, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in CYP-PT therapies, in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) whilst carrying out clinical work in our service to complement their studies and use their newly developed skills.</p> <p>We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic mental health practitioners to work and train within our service. The training post will equip the post-holder to provide interventions for children, young people or families using evidence-based intervention consistent with the course they are attending. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equity, diversity and inclusion.</p> <p>This vacancy is within the North East Hampshire Mental Health Support Team (MHST), who are based at Aldershot Centre for Heath, although practitioners work across multiple schools and sites.</p> <p>MHSTs are part of a wider 'School Based Needs Team' who deliver evidence based early intervention mental health support for children and young people, ensuring they receive the right support to meet their needs, at the right time, in alignment with the THRIVE model.</p>

  <p><strong>Information about the Training &amp; the Job Role</strong></p> <p>This is a permanent post with this training year funded by HEE. After successful completion of the course you will continue your employment within the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) using the new skills you have developed. You will continue in the MHST as a Band 6 Senior Clinician, delivering all 3 functions of MHSTs, including direct work with CYP and families, offering consultation and advice to school and supporting the delivery of Whole School Approach work within education settings.</p> <p>This role will be best suited for applicants that are able to balance a very busy work and study schedule. You will be an employee at the service but also enrolled on a Postgraduate Diploma course. As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. Applicants must be prepared to work towards their studies outside of protected study time (such as on weekends and after work). Protected study time or teaching days are typically two days a week during term (with possibility of extra university days near start) and will be a mixture of in person and online sessions. Applicants must be willing to travel to Reading to attend their lectures.</p> <p>HEE are also expecting to implement a new rule regarding beneficiaries of their training year funding.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 6 Neurological Occupational Therapy rotation. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge within a varied and complex neurological caseload across the continuum of care from the acute setting into the community. We are passionate about the role of Occupational Therapy in neurology with a key focus in all areas on occupational focused assessment and intervention.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>This position would involve 12 month rotations in the following clinical areas:</strong></p><p>Lotus Rehabilitation Centre- a 26 bedded rehabilitation unit providing specialist multidisciplinary rehabilitation for adults with stroke or complex neurological needs</p><p>Acute Neurology Team- A neuro specialist MDT delivering assessment and intervention for patients with a broad range of neurological conditions. Our input can start on ICU and continues through to the acute wards making the caseload interesting and varied.</p><p>Hyper acute and Acute Stroke Unit- a 34 bedded unit, one of the largest in the country, working in a strong integrated therapy team to deliver early assessments and interventions to stroke patients.</p><p>In each rotation you will be working as a part of an integrated multidisciplinary team. You will be supervised and supported by a specialist band 7 Occupational Therapist, this will include regular supervision, 1:1 joint patient sessions and individualised training. This position will offer opportunities for junior staff supervision, participation in quality improvement project and audits. Regular in house training is provided as well as peer support across the neurological pathway. There is also the opportunity to apply for specialist CPD external funding to further enhance and develop your skills within neurology.</p>

  <p><strong>8a Senior Psychological Therapist or 8a Senior Practitioner Psychologist</strong></p> <p>An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced psychological therapist (BABCP registered CBT therapist, Art Therapist or HCPC registered Psychologist) to join our Acute and Urgent Care Services based in Worthing.</p> <p>This full-time post will support across one of our inpatients working age adult wards, and our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, (CRHT) with some input into the Haven service.</p> <p>The Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT):This is a multi-disciplinary team offering a 7-day service for people in acute psychiatric crisis. The team provides an alternative to hospital admission by delivering intensive community-based interventions and acts as a gatekeeper for hospital admissions. If admission is necessary, the CRHTT helps shorten the inpatient stay by facilitating a supportive discharge back to the community.</p> <p>The Haven: This is a 24/7 community-based mental health crisis unit, designed as an alternative to Emergency Department (ED) attendance for those without acute physical or medical issues. The Haven provides a safe, comfortable environment for comprehensive assessment and risk formulation, aiming to develop an appropriate care plan and onward clinical pathway. The extended timeframe allows for more thorough assessment and coordination of community support.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an innovative and resilient clinician who can offer evidenced based assessment and interventions for service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. This post will offer a full range of evidence-based psychological interventions as well as complex assessments, formulations and consultations to colleagues from other disciplines within the team.
