  <p>At Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, our unique care provides a lifeline of compassion and support to patients, carers, and families facing progressive life-limiting illness.</p><p>We provide palliative and end of life care support, including bereavement services, within Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire and our patient services are available to adults, as well as patients transitioning into adult services (16 to 25 years). enthusiastic mental health practitioners to work and train within our service. This
is an exciting opportunity for a
Trainee (CBT) to join our team as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded
Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes. </p><p>We are

using CBT. The post holder will work

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The CYP
Psychological Therapies training programme is a government-funded initiative
aiming to grow the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. To
help reach this goal, NHSE covers salary and training costs for a 1-year post,
allowing services to employ trainees to help implement new &amp; expand
existing specialist pathways to bridge the gaps in CYP mental health support. This is a unique opportunity to apply your
learning from weekly teaching into practical clinical interventions, working
with clients in the service making a direct impact in the lives of children,
young people and their families (parents/carers). You will need to balance a
demanding course with self-study and clinical work.</p><p>This full-time training will
begin in January 2026 with around 2.5 days a week for academic work (teaching and
personal study) and 2.5 days based at the service seeing clients related to
training assignments. Trainees will be both an employee of the service and an
enrolled student with Kings College London. Upon completion qualified trainees
will receive a KCL Postgraduate Diploma in Children &amp; Young Peoples Mental

It is centrally located on one site in Plaistow, Newham, and provides an extensive and growing range of services including multi-disciplinary specialist teams such as the Emotional &amp; Behavioural Teams, Adolescent Mental Health Team, Paediatric Liaison Team, Neurodevelopmental Team and the Well Being in Newham Schools Team. It meets weekly with community partners and social care as part of the Newham Multi Agency Collective. Practitioners work in Youth Zones and form part of the Vanguard Team - a specialist community psychology led service in Newham, for young people up to 25 years of age impacted by, or at risk of youth violence. There is a broad spectrum of disciplines and a long tradition of effective multidisciplinary and interagency working, outreach and consultation work. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The CWP role is to provide support in the Triage and management of families waiting for treatment with our waiting list team E&amp;B3 and also our Front Door Team with referrals. This will also involve delivery of both individual and group interventions for young people and parents under the supervision of a suitably qualified senior clinician. The applicant we be an experienced CWP who can supervise junior CWP staff and CWP trainees. </p>  <p>Additionally, our CWPs run workshops, raise awareness of mental health and emotional wellbeing to parent/carers, young people and professionals to promote positive mental health. CWPs will support clinicians in the running of other therapy groups. The post holder will be required to be creative, flexible, adaptable, professional and motivated in all aspects of their role, both in clinical delivery and within the development of the service provision. The successful candidate would contribute to the MDT, working within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.</p>

  <p>Dorset Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHSTs) are seeking a Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner/Trainee Supervisor (Band 6) for our team based in the North &amp; East Dorset area. You will be required to attend Exeter University to complete the training for this post from January 2025 on a part time basis over two years.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams work with children and young people (and their families) who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs, within education settings.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior wellbeing and supervising practitioner who is passionate about children's mental health.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will help to oversee the delivery of the clinical work undertaken by the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) within the team, both those in training and those who are already qualified, ensuring that Low Intensity CBT interventions are used effectively to support children and young people's mental wellbeing. You will provide clinical supervision and leadership to more junior colleagues and will be involved with developing clinical operational processes. The team also works with education settings to help them to implement a whole school approach to good emotional wellbeing. This can include for example consultation, training and small and large group work to promote good emotional health for all. </p> <p>You will also be expected to hold a clinical caseload and to use your newly learnt knowledge to deliver short term evidence based interventions to children, families and young people whose needs are more complex in nature.</p> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This is more than just a job; it's a chance to apply your expertise directly to those who need it most. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, working alongside Recovery Workers to deliver impactful, psychologically-informed interventions. This is a unique opportunity to build on your MHWP training and positively change lives. In this role, you will:

Provide crucial, evidence-based support - you will use your training to deliver wellbeing-focused interventions, helping service users with complex mental health presentations. Your work will directly support recovery plans, focusing on key areas like managing emotions, improving sleep, and building confidence
Be a key part of the team - you'll work closely with your line manager, supervisor, and the rest of the drug and alcohol team, engaging with service users and their families to develop strengths-based, outcome-focused care plans
Grow your skills with expert guidance - you will receive regular supervision from a qualified professional, such as an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist or a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist. This ensures you're always learning and delivering the highest quality of care.
Collaborate and communicate effectively - you'll liaise with other health providers to ensure seamless continuity of care and communicate sensitive information to promote effective teamwork and positive outcomes for clients.</p>
