Opus people solutions on behalf of Walsall Council have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Practitioner to join their team.Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner Length of assignment: 3 Months Hours per week: 37 Hourly rate: 30- 40 Remote/Office based: Hybrid-all therapeutic appointments will be face to faceWe are looking to recruit therapists to work within our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.Responsibilities:<ul><li>You will be responsible for the delivery of psychological and/or systemic interventions with parents and carers within Walsall both on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups.</li><li>Work with adults with significant and complex needs, with specific focus on engaging with parents in relation to their mental health and well-being whilst engaging with the wider social care system involved with the family.</li><li>You will be responsible for clinical provision including assessment, formulation, and time-limited evidence-based interventions within the Family safeguarding mental health team.</li><li>You will be required to identify the most appropriate form of mental health/psychological intervention for individuals to develop bespoke interventions to parents based on parental mental health need, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills relating to therapeutic intervention models (such as trauma informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional therapy, systemic family therapy)</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>1 year CBT experience</li><li>BACP registered</li><li>UK Driving License</li><li>Experience and qualification in delivering therapeutic interventions across a range of specialism to include but not exclusively trauma informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, systemic family therapy.</li></ul>If you thrive to make a difference, have experience and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you.

Mental Health Practitioner

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Registered Mental Health Nurses and Registered Social Workers for contract roles working within an A&amp;E Liaison service based in Salford The role is ideally mainly for days, with weekends also available. The post holder will be expected to be responsible for the assessment, management and care planning that will be appropriate, meet the needs of services users and manage risks identified in the course of assessment. Assessments will be undertaken within the Accident and Emergency Department and the general hospital. Pay rates are as follows; <ul> <li>Days - £26.00 per hour</li> <li>Nights/Sat - £33.71 per hour</li> <li>Sunday/Bhol - £42.65 per hour</li> </ul> Hours: Full Time/Part Time Days: Monday - Sunday (Can pick your shift pattern) Contract: 6 Months (+ongoing) Band: 6 Salary: Upto £42.65 per hour The applicant must be a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Social Worker.
