Registered Mental Health Nurse Job Type: Temporary Pay rate starting from: £16.68 (dependent on experience and interview) Birmingham Our client supports service-users along a recovery pathway using relationshipcentred, best practice interventions and supports individuals to improve their quality of life whilst working towards their personal goals. Service-user outcomes are measured using recognised assessment tools which allow us to evidence our objective of enabling individuals to move towards living in the least restrictive setting possible Position Overview: We are looking for a aexceptional Mental Health Nurse passionate about working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses, working 157.5 hours every 4 weeks in our high dependency unit, opening in Highgate, Birmingham. You will need to be flexible to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. You will be collaboratively working alongside a full multi disciplinary team including external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide person-centred care to individuals seeking support on their journey towards community integration</li> <li>To empower service users and help them realise their full potential through progressive improvements in their quality of life and a steady progression towards recovery, culminating in successful discharge.</li> <li>Your role will involve providing quality, evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care to individuals with complex, severe, and enduring mental health needs, in a multidisciplinary setting.</li> <li>Establishing, therapeutic relationships with service users and implement evidence-based interventions.</li> <li>Providing leadership to the ward by taking turns to be the nurse in charge and promoting effective team working</li> <li>Formulating and reviewing of care plans, risk assessments and relevant assessments</li> <li>Representing the nursing team in multi disciplinary meetings</li> <li>Promoting an inclusive and positive culture aligned with the company values and policies</li> <li>Participate in audits, care reviews and identify areas for quality improvements</li> <li>Ensuring duties of safeguarding are upheld at all times.</li> </ul> What We re Looking For: <ul> <li>You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, registered with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council or in the process of achieving your registration.</li> <li>A positive attitude and passion for high quality care and support</li> <li>You should possess a working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and the changes brought about by the Mental Health Act 2007 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.</li> <li>Additionally, you should have a clear understanding of your responsibilities under the Care Programme Approach, Clinical Governance, and Child Protection Legislation.</li> <li>Effective communication.</li> <li>Willingness to learn.</li> </ul> What We Offer: <ul> <li>Support from our team of dedicated Consultants</li> <li>On going and consistent work</li> <li>Smooth onboarding Process</li> <li>Training opportunities and career advancement.</li> </ul> If you have a passion for providing support to vulnerable individuals and meet the essential skills and qualities listed, we would love to hear from you.
