  <p>Due to a review of the staffing establishment an exciting opportunity has arisen for additional Band 4 Nursery Nurses to join the team at the East London Mother &amp; Baby Unit.</p>
<p>Applicants for this position will need to be a nursery nurse with the appropriate training, experience of working with babies and who are able to demonstrate interest in Perinatal Mental Health.</p>
<p>Working in a Mother &amp; Baby Unit is a unique role for nursery nurses to work within an inpatient mental health ward, supporting babies and their mothers who are experiencing mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>The East London Mother and Baby unit is a 12 bedded unit based within the City &amp; Hackney Centre for Mental Health.</p>
<p>This family-centred specialist Mother and Baby Unit cares for people who experience severe mental health difficulties during the later stages of pregnancy and following the birth. The mothers are either experiencing mental health problems ante-natally or up to one year post-natally and require direct support in ensuring care of the infant is upheld whilst supporting the mother through their own recovery.</p>
<p>The ward team consists of registered mental health nurses, nursery nurses, social therapists and a life skills recovery worker. This work is further enhanced in therapy by a psychologist, occupational therapist, parent-infant psychotherapist, art therapist and dance movement therapist.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<p>Due to significant business growth PAM Physio Solutions are looking to employ the skills of an enthusiastic and experienced occupational health occupational therapist to provide specialised workplace needs assessments and provide the opportunity to enhance their skills working for a large occupational health provider. They will be based and cover assessments in the South region as part of a nationwide team</p><p>We are looking for an&nbsp;<strong>Occupational Therapist</strong>&nbsp;who is passionate about the assessment of individuals with acute, chronic and complex health presentations to support their return to work or keep them in work. As part of our PPS team, you will be involved in delivering Specialist workplace needs assessments, Rehabilitation Services, Ergonomic Assessments, Case Management and delivering onsite training programmes.</p><p>The role will involve traveling to different client sites/ PAM clinics with some remote/ home-based work.</p><p>A full induction will be provided along with training and development through PAM’s dedicated PAM Academy, to support CPD and career aspirations</p><p>Travel time will be factored into the working day (depending on distance).&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Working as an autonomous clinical practitioner, being professional and responsible for all aspects of own workload.</p><p>To deliver specialist workplace needs assessments and relevant services covering a range of health conditions at client sites/ PAM Clinics or remotely. Delivering a thorough and detailed clinical assessment, using appropriate clinical techniques, tools and equipment. Using clinical reasoning to provide relevant solutions and recommendations.</p><p>Delivering evidence-based intervention to all patients, in line with RCOT and NICE guidelines, and in accordance with the PAM PPS clinical pathways.</p><p>Formulating treatment plans / goals, assisting and enabling patients to achieve their goals and targets.</p><p>Providing appropriate advice based on the patient’s medical, social and cultural circumstances.</p><p>Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, contemporaneous patient records in line with clinical professional standards of practice.
