  <p>Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust (LPFT) delivers an NHS Talking Therapies service. An opportunity has arisen for a qualified counsellor Band 5 or Band 6 to join the Lincolnshire Talking Therapies service based in Spalding although you may also be required to cover alternative bases to meet service need. The Service provides evidence-based interventions within a stepped care model, treating people with mild to moderate common mental health problems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major national service, which has fundamentally changed the way in which psychological treatments are provided.</p> <p><em><strong>CLOSING DATE: 30th December 2025</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>INTERVIEWS: 15th January 2026</strong></em></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work within a team environment and be thoroughly conversant with the use of clinical systems.</p> <p>The Band 5 counsellor will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing counselling for depression. The post holder will be expected to hold a clinical caseload and will be provided with clinical supervision. The service will provide the relevant training to acquire a qualification in a Talking Therapies modality of PCE-CfD.</p> <p>To acquire the Band 6 post the candidate will need to continue to hold a caseload, be accredited with a professional body, complete and pass a qualification in a Talking Therapy modality PCE-CfD. They will be responsible in providing clinical supervision to counselling colleagues.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Manager to lead our Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in the Grantham locality. They should preferably have experience supporting clients with communication and mobility difficulties, as the client can only speak a few words, and his support worker will need to be skilled in interpreting in order to communicate effectively.</p> <p>The RSW should be able to support mobility, and accessing indoors and outside environment safely. The RSW should be able to motivate the client, and help him to engage in social and leisure pursuits both at home, e.g. board games, card games, as well as therapy exercises from Physio and SALT.</p> <p>The RSW should also be able to research, plan and organise trips and excursions to the local community to support the client in engaging with activities to improve and enhance quality of life. Ultimately, accessing disabled fishing or sports options would be great.
