  <p>As an HCPC registered Allied Health professional, reporting to the Consultant psychological lead for Tower Hamlets, you will supervise the clinical and professional aspects of all arts therapists working in in adult mental health services. Their line management will be held by other colleagues in either inpatient or locality psychology teams. </p> <p>You will ensure that the art therapists are supported to meet resident's needs via group, partnership working and 1:1 work. This will be through development of guidance and best practice for the art therapy professionals in the borough. Ensuring that activity is effective, acceptable and increasingly co-produced. There will be scope to explore partnership working with voluntary and charitable sector organisations, to further disseminate the benefits of art therapies through supervision and consultation.</p> <p>There will be time for clinical work and other service development activities. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>1. To be responsible for the overall provision of a specialist Arts Therapies assessment and treatment service for adults within the Directorate</p> <p>2. To be responsible for all clincial and professional aspects of the Arts Therapies offer within Tower Hamlets and ensure that clear systems are in place and working effectively for management and productivity</p> <p>3. To lead in the development of the Arts Therapies service, including proposing and implementing service developments within the area served by the team and in liaison with the Senior Leadership Team, Professional Lead for Arts Therapies, and other Head Arts Therapists in the Trust.</p> <p>4. To manage and supervise the Arts Therapists and trainee Arts Therapists across the directorate</p> <p>5. To provide specialist Arts Therapies assessment and treatment for own clinical caseload</p> <p>6. To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of the Arts Therapies service and to understand and contribute research and quality improvement in relevant specialist fields</p> <p>7. To establish and maintain good working relationships with all other operational and clinical managers in both inpatient and community settings in the borough.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The post holder will hold a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team, undertaking specialist neurodevelopmental assessments and post assessment interventions. </p>  <p>The post holder will communicate complex information in a highly skilled and sensitive manner, at times dealing with service users who may be hostile or present challenging behaviours.</p>  <p>You will maintain a high standard of clinical records, producing and maintaining good communications with referrers and other professionals involved, liaising with the referrers where appropriate, including liaison with local services and participating in outreach meetings. </p>  <p>The post holder will contribute to the quality, safety and continuous improvement of services provided to service users and their families.</p>

  <p>The post holder will lead on complex neurodevelopmental assessments for CYP aged 12-25 years within the Autism Assessment pathway undertaking behavioural observations and Developmental interviews for allocated cases.</p>  <p>Leading on the writing of comprehensive assessment reports where leading on the assessment and contributing to other assessment reports where the clinician has contributed.</p>  <p>Work with team manager on intake, referral coordination and on the implementation of the assessment clinics.</p>  <p>Provide consultation to external agencies as required such as GPs/schools/Local authorities,</p>   <h3>About us</h3>

  <p>Bexley MHST seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who are passionate about mental health support in schools, with a demonstrable track record of MHST clinical experience.   <p><strong>Hours of work: 18.75 hours (2.5 days pw, one of which must be Thursday)</strong></p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Psychological Therapist at St Josephs. You will work as part of committed and creative team, which offers innovative, holistic and person-aligned care and support to people with palliative and end life care needs, and to their families and care givers.</p><p>The post is part of the Patient and Family Counselling team, which contributes to the provision of palliative and end of life care services. The post holder will work across inpatient, day care and community services providing psychological support services to people with complex emotional needs; in the context of being a patient with a terminal illness, a relative/carer for the patient or as a family member.</p><p>The post holder will be expected to work in a flexible way, adapting the service provided to meet the differing and changing needs of service users from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds. They will also provide training, consultation and supervision.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Youwill need:</p><ul><li>Recognised qualification in a psychological therapy at Masters level or equivalent.</li><li>Significant experience of providing counselling and working therapeutically with adults, children and families in a palliative care or aligned care setting.</li><li>Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary setting alongside health and social care colleagues.</li></ul>  <h3>About us</h3>

  <p><strong><em>Mind Matters at Surrey and Borders has two exciting opportunies for indivuduals who may have counselling / CBT or psychology experience and / or knowledge or working with mental health or vulnerable people.</em></strong></p> <p><strong><em>Couple Therapy for Depression Post-Graduate NHS Talking Therapies Trainee:</em></strong>This is a training role: academic and clinical with Tavistock Relationships and NHS Talking Therapies Services. This is a 3-year programme starting 29 September 2025.</p> <p><strong><em>Couple Therapy for Depression Post-Graduate NHS Talking Therapies Trainee will begin at Band 5 in Year 1 at a Foundation Level working with individuals. In Year 2 they will commence the Birkbeck Post-Graduate Diploma Level and begin working with Couples and continue to work with both Individuals and Couples in Year 3. This course is also accredited with UKCP.</em></strong></p> <p>The post holder will attend all taught and self-study days required by the education provider (Mondays and Tuesdays) as specified within the agreed national curriculum and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.</p> <p>This course is a national offer with 6 x 2 Monday and Tuesdays an academic year. The service which is in its early stages of mobilisation will include an OPD outreach service to men within HMP High Down and a specialist residential Psychologically Informed Planned Environment (PIPE) unit for men with learning disabilities. The services form part of the national Men's OPD pathway and will be a national first.</p> <p>You will be joining a new staff team that will include psychologists, occupational therapy, a Speech &amp; Language therapist, prison officers and an Advanced Lived Experience Practitioner.   <p>To identify people (through screening or assessment) with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including Autism, Attention deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities</p>
<p>To work as an independent neurodiversity practitioner with men with personality disorder and learning disability residing on the PIPE and with men in prison presenting with complex &amp; challenging needs as part of the outreach service.</p>
<p>To co-facilitate adapted group and individual psychosocial interventions for men whose communication, thinking style and coping strategies are impacted upon by the presence of a Neurodevelopmental Disorder.</p>
<p>To provide expert neurodiversity knowledge, support &amp; training to support the team and wider establishment provide a neurodiverse aware environment.</p>
<p>To support the men on the PIPE access services in the prison.</p>

  <p>The position of Senior Lecturer has been introduced to enable flexible delivery within a portfolio of courses, and where appropriate, across portfolios. It aims to facilitate the post holder in implementing a wide range of skills within an integrated post. At senior level, the post holder will be required to undertake a leadership role in relation to an aspect of course delivery; in this instance, oversight of the digital component of the MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (M58), which is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council.
